How do you know the design of our screens doesn’t require Allen spiking it into the ground?

NFL Week #14 - Jets at Bills - Post game thread
SCBills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Games like this are helpful when posters say things like we have a bottom 10 OL… Herbert is under siege every play. OL’s around the league struggle … a lot. QB play masks much of it ie pre-snap and mobility. More noticeable when we dial up deep throws nonstop. Doesnt mean we shouldn’t draft some guys this off-season, but we have an average group … and you can win with that. -

IMO, Allen doesn’t deserve that, but he’s the face of the Offense, so he has to deal with it. I’d agree with you. Maybe someone can light a fire under them. Hopefully we look back and that clip is replayed if/when they figure out how to be a competent offense again. I’m pretty sure it was in reference to a rubber match. -

No question. Sullivan told Allen the offense isn’t Super Bowl caliber right now. …and while I don’t think Allen should have to answer that, I kind of love that he did…. I hope it reverberated through the locker room. Because it was disrespectful, but also very true. -
Von did say Rousseau will become the best DE in the NFL…

Not as lucky as concussing the opposing QB when yours is melting down after giving up a big lead, but pretty close.

Saleh apparently called his shot, saying they’ll see us again. -
That’s too easy. Everything we do must be with the difficulty setting set to expert mode.

Im frustrated with this team as well, but I feel the exact opposite… I think we’re much better than we’ve shown. There are some shortcomings, but every team has them .. Even with the injuries, the defense is loaded with talent, and we have the most talented QB in the league, with an elite WR1 and solid supporting cast (OL, WR, RB, TE). When you have the QB, with those ingredients, it’s up to coaching and execution.. because we have Super Bowl talent. So far, especially on offense, the coaching and execution has been poor.

Dane was frustratingly ok. McKenzie was a disaster and continues to show himself to be absolutely unreliable.

As frustrated as I am with the Offense … The Defense was possessed today. Some people think defenses need to pitch shutouts to have a good game … no, our defense was psychotic today. Bad intentions, and the pass rush looks like they did some kind of ritual to absorb the spirit of Von Miller. -

No issue with that. We weren’t going to be able to run it on them to end it. Allen just got too safe with the throw and allowed the defender to make a play. What drove me crazy was the fact we couldn’t run outside against their wide nine defense all day, yet in two big moments, Dorsey runs QB power outside. That said, players aren’t executing. Way too many drops in big moments…. MCKENZIE. -

Tough game. Two great defenses and the elements helped even it out for the Jets. We HAVE GOT TO figure out how to put teams away. So many familiar mistakes with such cute play-calling (which is fine when it works… sorry, Dorsey, hasn’t been working for you)… they have to be better on offense. The passing offense has been unacceptably mediocre for far too long now. Four more games to figure out who they can trust doing what on offense before it gets real. -
I’m looking forward to Elon via Taibbi, Weiss and Schellenberger releasing the covid files. The most dangerous moment I’ve ever witnessed in my life, and not due to the virus. The way people reacted, and the way the govt/media manipulated them .. and in some parts of the country, still do .. is something we can never forget. It showed how many in this country are susceptible to the methods that brought about some of the worst atrocities in human history. These people now ask for us to forgive, yet the impulse they have still remains … they will react in the same manner the next time we have an emergency … and those in power now know that.

NY Jets at Buffalo Bills, Sunday Dec 11 at 1 pm
SCBills replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills should be able to get pressure on teams, even without Von, as the back seven gets healthy. Doesn’t matter who’s rushing the passer when the QB has quick slants with defensive backs playing ten yards off and jump balls down field available to them every snap. -
Yea.. they could’ve gotten Whelan. Chose Griner. NBC will disappear whoever reported this like they did Miguel Almaguer.

Khalil Shakir's Place in the Offense Going Forward
SCBills replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems Shakir’s role in the offense will be to provide debate amongst fans as to what his role in the offense will be. -
Unless Beane is trying to sign OBJ at a discount for next year(s), I think I’m pretty much at my end of the line re: OBJ after those comments. Im sure he could help us in the playoffs, IF he’s even healthy enough to do that. However, I’m not sure I love putting Allen is the position where he’s throwing his first live action pass to OBJ in the WC or Div around. I always thought it made sense if he could ramp up against, say, Cinci and NE … but if he’s above that or incapable of that .. eh… not ideal.

Sinema switches to independent, shaking up the Senate
SCBills replied to ALF's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Murkowski, Sinema and Manchin are basically all independent (by American standards). Sanders technically is, but only because he’s a socialist - he may be a pain to some Dems but he’ll never threaten to vote with R’s. Murkowski won’t flip because McConnell saved her in Alaska. Without his money, she would’ve lost to a way more conservative challenger. Manchin is done in West Virginia. Small chance to survive if he flips to R. He ended his political career when he supported the Inflation Reduction Act. He’ll lose to someone like Jim Justice next election. -
If you’re a Raiders fan, what do you even do …. Their schedule was completely set up to jump back into the wild card and then you lose to the Rams B-squad led by Baker Mayfield who was signed 2 days ago. One of the worst losses by a team in recent memory.
-
Baker …. man, respect!
