  1. With Ramsey, I have the Dolphins entering the season with a better WR room and better Secondary than the Bills. Pretty equal everywhere else, with the Bills having better TE’s and more potential on the DL and OL, depending on Von’s recovery. Essentially coming down to Allen vs Tua … heavy edge to Buffalo at QB. Without Ramsey.. The only definitive edge the Fins have on us is at WR. That’s not enough.
  2. I think most here believe that there are 3 teams that talent/qb are above all others in the AFC: Chiefs. Bills. Bengals. That said, most of us also acknowledge that KC is on top until dethroned and the Bengals have made it to the Super Bowl. Bills have some work to do in the postseason department and, until we do, our coaching seems to be what is called into question compared to KC and CIN… and that’s fair.
  3. I don’t pay enough attention to other teams to know if this is common? Are other teams roster churning at certain positions like we seem to be doing at WR? I don’t hate bringing in higher pedigree guys and releasing players that were competing for PS spots, but it just seems …. Somewhat concerning.
  4. Yea.. if we don’t lock him up before the season, it just feels like Tremaine all over again. Not the worst thing in the world to get a comp pick, but it just becomes a situation where he stays healthy and maybe blows up, then we can’t afford him or he doesn’t, in which case we likely let him walk and potentially look at WR early in the draft.
  5. Yea.. I actually think a healthy Gabe has WR2 ability in him.. especially if he’s able to run in a trio with Diggs and Kincaid like he did when we had Beasley and/or Sanders taking some pressure off him. That said, to state injuries held him back, without acknowledging that he’s struggled with the same injury in multiple years, is disingenuous.
  6. This is a good point, and part of the reason I wouldn’t have minded drafting Darnell Washington over Dorian Williams. If I had to guess, if he can handle it.. they may have 2-TE sets for Knox/Kincaid and then separate packages where Kincaid just runs the slot route, which can be interchangeable with a WR.
  7. 1) Milano vs Long 2) Holland vs Hyde & Poyer 3) And then you squabble on two middle of the pack RB rooms It’s not being a homer to point out that you’re a hater … and I’m certainly not one to be over the top in my praise of this teams roster construction. I’m sure plenty of posters could vouch for my frequent criticisms of Beane/McDermott and their asset allocation. That said.. we have a very talented team, with a QB who is elite tier. It could, and should, be better … but what it is, is still very talented and deep … more so than the Dolphins roster. And you did not provide much pushback in your post.
  8. I don’t wish serious injury on anyone, but I’m also not going to post all this… Do you think Cinci fans care that Allen played out the season with a torn UCL when they post mocking gifs of Diggs blowing up on him during the game?
  9. I doubt it.. but if he’s truly in their long term plans, they should seriously get him signed before the season starts.
  10. Eh.. I’m not reading into the Wild Card game. That team was in danger of losing to NE the week before and then didn’t even show up the following week against CIN. I don’t know who that was post-Hamlin injury, but it wasn’t the Bills.
  11. Agreed. I low key like McDaniel.
  12. Answer for me, the following questions: With Ramsey out until December, who has the better.. (I’ll give you mine) Safeties? (Bills) Cornerbacks? (Bills) Linebackers? (Bills) Defensive Line? (Push) OL? (Bills) WR’s? (Dolphins) TE’s (Bills) RB’s? (Push) QB? (Bills) *Jevon Holland is a beast, but one Holland doesn’t overcome both Hyde & Poyer, with Rapp as depth *With a healthy Ramsey, I’d put the Dolphins ahead of the Bills at CB, but without him, Bills are better *Both teams have meh at one LB spot, and I like Long, but he isn’t Milano *DL, I want to go Bills, but the Fins DL is also nasty, and ours being better is dependent upon Von coming back at close to his pre-injury ability *Both OL’s enter the season with question marks, but Bills have more potential and more depth *WR’s, Hill and Waddle are monsters.. We only have one Diggs *TE’s, easily Bills with Knox and Kincaid *RB’s, too close to call. Bills RB room is solid and Cook could be big time, but Miami’s has elite speed *QB, this isn’t worth an explanation
  13. Theyre good but incredibly overhyped. They added Fangio, who last time Allen faced him.. went nuclear. And added Ramsey, who’s now out until December. We faced them 3x last year .. should’ve won all three. One loss was a game in which we statistically destroyed them but lost due extreme weather.. then the latter 2x were when we became so decimated that our season was over.. we just didn’t realize it. I think we’ll show how far that gap is again this year.. They have a talented roster.. it’s not as talented as ours, should Von, Tre and Hyde be even 80% of what they were.. and Tua isn’t on Allen’s level.. only Mahomes and Burrow w/ his elite trio are.
  14. ….she says after she cheated on her husband with, and then married, a white man.
  15. The Bills must give the ok to players to go on their podcasts though .. so it seems the organization, at the very least, tolerates them.
  16. I can understand some fans high hopes. Gabe Davis was a 4th rounder in a stacked WR draft. Shakir a 5th, with quite a few talking heads calling him a steal. That being said.. Gabe is a physical specimen that does something at a really high level (stretch the defense). Shakir is an undersized guy that excels with the ball in his hands in space .. Something that hasn’t really been a focus of our offense for anyone, let alone a rookie, now second year player guaranteed to be behind, at least, Diggs, Davis, Kincaid, Knox and Cook in the pecking order of weapons.
  17. Is it correct to view, through three days of practice, the battle for WR3 & WR4… Sherfield ⬆️ Harty ⬆️ Shakir ⬇️ ??
  18. Id hope the Bills offer him a settlement… I’ve heard them offering him what he would’ve made on the PS as an option? Id hope we’re not trying to void every last dollar this year and claw back money he’s already received. But there is no reason we should have to eat his full cap hit due to this.
  19. It is and isn’t on Beane. A lot of fans didn’t want it pick up the option on Oliver. We brought back Poyer (on the cheap) but against the cap, not so much. We found some money for Leonard Floyd. Matakevich, Neal and Hines (pre-injury) are mainly ST’s guys and when added up aren’t cheap. I’m not saying those were wrong decisions, but Hopkins would be on this team if we didn’t invest so heavily in cap dollars on defense.
  20. Agreed on Benford. He may just be a very good player that was overlooked at a small school. Ehh… That 5th year option is still expensive when your QB is making 45M+ Year 2 for McDuffie in KC. He’s starting. They’re hoping to get above average production from him with 3 years before they have to pay him or let him walk. Year 2 for Elam in Buffalo. Camp battle with a guy who is “solid” and here on a one year deal. It’s early. Let’s see how it plays out. But rookies need to produce early for us moving forward .. not in year 4 right before we have to make a cap decision on them.
  21. Yup … but no one gives af that we entered the post-season mentally drained and with: -Allen, torn UCL -Phillips injured -Poyer injured -Davis injured -Von OUT -Jones OUT -Hyde OUT -Hamlin OUT All anyone remembers is that we didn’t even bother showing up in the Divisional Round and KC was able to beat a Bengals squad with a decimated OL to get to, yet another, Super Bowl.
  22. Kevin Durant is probably the one people remember most, and that looked like this. That being said, the comments from people somewhat in the know, make it sound like he thankfully dodged that bullet.
