What we’re their ratings for the playoff game last time they made it and nobody wanted them there? Doesnt seem like their fanbase size translates to ratings like the Cowboys do.
-
I doubt we’re overtaking the Dolphins. We probably have to win out and then hope the Fins lose 3 in a row to finish the season. Plausible when you see who they play, but that’s a lot we need to go our way. In terms of making the playoffs .. these teams were chasing are bad. Texans might be decent but they just lost their best WR. Broncos are ok. Colts, Steelers, Browns are bad. As someone said above, drought era Bills… defense can keep them in but eventually it all comes crashing down.
-
Can they beat a contender first or nah?
-
The Jordan Travis tweet. “I wish my leg broke earlier so y’all could see this team is so much more than the QB…” **** this committee. I hope they have to answer for it … and judging by the INTENSE backlash from AD’s, Chancellors and Politicians, they’re going to have to.
-
I also love the “Committee took the 4 best teams” Ha! No, they absolutely did not. UGA is a Top 4 team and everybody knows they are. So they made a mockery of the sport this year and didn’t even do what they say they were tasked to do in order to justify what they did to FSU.
-
FSU could beat Michigan with their backup QB who isn’t a true freshman starting his first game in the ACC Championship Game. SEC did nothing out of conference. ACC was 6-4 against them. SEC’s best win was Kentucky 38 over Louisville 35. FSU held them to 6 points. I have no idea what to make of UW because they play out West and I rarely watch them. Texas is dependent on which version of their QB shows up. BAMA and UGA are better than FSU now, but they were never going to take both, also we’re never going to take none.
-
Nobody cares. You think Verse and Coleman etc are going to play? Maybe, maybe not .. players on both sides won’t care if it’s not CFP.
-
They picked the best 4 teams, but also basically said that this year, the games didn’t matter. Just a subjective decision based on the whims of a bunch of people in a room. Watching the FSU reaction made me want to punt this chair of the CFP Committee into the sun as he rambles on in this interview.

Which WR prospect will the Bengals screw us out of?
SCBills replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
We “want” an upgrade, maybe. Im sorry … top 5 OL doesn’t equate to need, especially when we “need” a WR2 and potentially a C, depending on what we do with Morse/Bates. Nevermind the fact we may have to fill holes on defense with rookies. If an elite RT drops due to everyone going QB and WR before us, then I’m not opposed … I’m never opposed to OL. But it seems now, more than ever, drafting Tackles early is quite the roll of the dice. -

I genuinely do not understand this. We have a Top 5 OL this year and Spencer Brown is an average to above average RT game to game … and still has upside to grow into. -
Autry keeping Copeland in the game for 5-6 minutes is the difference in this game. Now they’re melting down after UVA got some breathing room and has ratcheted up the defense. Not the greatest coaching start for him in these high pressure games where his rotations are sus and the team falls apart. Still a half to go, but this has been really poor from the team and Red.
-
Nevermind that Dan Orlovsky, as a white guy, has to deal with subtle racism from these dudes about Josh Allen. He’ll never call it out, except maybe when he leaves ESPN, but he knows it’s there. Mina Kimes gonna be the last one standing over there in terms of having anything intelligent/unbiased to say.

No one is wanting to be the person who lays out that hypothetical, but it’s absolutely plausible. And as you allude to, Von could also just be a woman beater. But if a woman attacks you, and you restrain her/push her off you.. she could absolutely bruise, trip, fall etc.. It doesn’t sound like there were any allegations that he hit her. So we’re left to decipher injuries concurrent with applying pressure and shoving someone. Of course she also gave a statement, of which it seems she’s disavowing.. so I’m just speaking about her actual injuries in a vacuum. -
Does this sound like someone who thinks it was going well?

Libs think Newsom won. Conservatives think DeSantis won. MAGA are acting like toddlers. That debate was about who would win over the swing vote. The suburban parents in Alpharetta, Georgia that decide a swing state. DeSantis has the results. Newsom has the polish & charisma. Newsom got destroyed by DeSantis on covid, education, quality of life and parental rights. He showed his massive vulnerability in ever being able to win over suburban parents. It was his handlers biggest worry going into the debate, and it presented itself far worse than they likely ever predicted.
-
IT WAS RIGGED It was a joke, given the only successful lines of attack/defense Newsom had were when he resorted to being a Trump hype man citing polls. I’ll tell you this .. I legitimately view Newsom as a strong candidate. However, my biggest reason for that is that I believe, despite his horrible record/results, that he is a smooth and effective communicator. One that can win over the swing vote suburban parents in an area like Alpharetta, Georgia (where that debate was held) I no longer believe that. He is too damaged on his disregard for parental rights and his covid actions. They are fatal flaws that even he can’t obfuscate enough on to render them mere flesh wounds.

Ok.. so the Bills can: Read the police report ✅ Talk to Von / he’ll deny it ✅ Talk to the GF / she’ll deny it ✅ Then what… -

SCBills replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
Literally the entire board, along with Bills Twitter, was saying yesterday … if he did what he’s accused of, he needs to be gone. Now his gf is backtracking and defending him and some of us are simply asking what anyone thinks the NFL/Bills are supposed to do in this situation. but go off… -

It’s not even about being given a pass.. Why is it the leagues responsibility to take action on someone when the person who alleged something happened, hours later.. says it didn’t happen? Sure, they’ll look into it, but I’m not sure what the NFL, who has the NFLPA to deal with, is supposed to do about something that allegedly happened … then… allegedly didn’t happen. -

What do you think should happen? His name is ruined now. Half this fanbase & the NFL fanbase, for that matter, will never not call him a woman beater. She recanted her story and/or now states everyone blew it out of proportion. What is the league supposed to do with that?
