This is the problem though. Allen was pretty much perfect all game. He made one mistake going for the jugular, bad decision and he couldn’t get the throw there. One mistake from him in an otherwise flawless game and we can’t overcome it. Coaches can’t help him out.. players don’t pick him up.. Yet Mahomes misses guys open in the end zone twice on the same drive and they fumble the ball out of the end zone …. And win.

There’s always an excuse.. -Second half collapse against Houston but we weren’t ready -AFC CG no show against KC but we weren’t ready -Damar Hamlin/Mental Exhaustion last year -No one has a clue what happened in 13 seconds but apparently he’ll never speak in depth on it, ever -Absolute no show tonight but injuries So apparently, for this defense to perform in big moments, with a defensive HC, they need to be in a good mental head space and completely healthy. Then, maybe, we can see what he can do in a big moment. They say you need luck and/or bounces. Yet NE dominated the AFC and now its KC… just lucky all the time, I guess. Or maybe Spags adjusted, with injuries as well, and took away our RB run game, forcing Allen to rely on Sherfield and whoever this guy that body snatched Diggs this year is. ….because winning teams have winning coaches.

Stop it. It’s beyond tiresome. Look at the Bills roster moves. Then take what you will from that. Sam Martin is Questionable. We cut Matt Haack. You worried he won’t play tonight too?

In fairness.. the call he took was ridiculous. KC fan saying they’re going to win because KC beat down Miami, while listing Xavien Howard as part of their star studded defense and claiming Michael Hyde is our best defensive player.

Playing at a high level through injury is a necessary skill in the NFL. If Bernard somehow gets cleared, it’s because he, and the team, are confident he can play at a high level. Nature of the beast.. pretty normal (even for guys we all thought were healthy) to schedule surgery after the seasons end.

Yea.. Lewis seems decent as 3rd Safety. Slot Corner.. not so much.

Losing Bernard, Benford, Spector and Rapp off this Defense hurts .. but we have to give credit to Beane, because this Defense still has: Floyd - Jones - Oliver - Rousseau Von - Settle - Joseph or Poona - AJE Lawson Dodson - Klein - Williams Douglas - Johnson - Jackson/Elam Hyde - Poyer - Lewis Most teams would love to have that level of talent on Defense. More than enough for McDermott to show us why he took over the Defense and is the guy to take us to the next level. Advance, stay healthy, and a few .. if not all.. of those guys will be back next weekend.
