  1. We gotta get a kid named Thor! He’s destined to bring the hammer I tell ya!
  2. I’m not sure why this is complicated to so many on here. You don’t pay players based on their league-wide talent level. You pay them based on their value to YOUR team. So if the Bills decide they’re going to evolve the offense into one that features Cook, then sure…pay him like a Top Five RB. But, if the offense is going to remain Allen-centric then you pay Cook like the 16th ranked RB that he’s been. Period!
  3. Reading through all of these draft projections it would appear that Ole Miss has become our NCAA version of the Carolina Panthers
  4. Corta that’s impossible! Ralph being cheap is the first answer to every Buffalo Bills related question. The second is of course Zach Ertz.
  5. Out here in Southern California we like to say we’re never more than THREE HOURS from anywhere….FIVE if there’s traffic. 😂
  6. I’m going to trust the professionals that are managing this large, complex project.
  7. Ralph wasn’t cheap. Or was he?
  8. Benjamin Morrison? I love their paint. Didn’t know they also offered a line of defensive backs. But I guess it makes sense, seeing as how they’re known for being good in ‘coverage’. 😉
  9. You took the words right out of my mouth. If you are successful at drafting a particular position then you’re bound to move on and look for a different one. For example, why would the Bills keep drafting quarterbacks after they selected Josh Allen? You almost have to look at the chart in the REVERSE. The lowest numbers mean the team is already set there. The higher number means they keep swinging and missing.
  10. Exactly. Mine wasn’t so much a suggestion as an emotionless look at an alternative based on who was still on the Board in each successive Round. It was meant to show how difficult all of this really is. It shows that the Bills will have plenty of options this year. I just pray that we won’t be revisiting these top three selections in endless threads a year from now lamenting over all of the woulda shoulda coulda scenarios.
  11. It shows you just how fickle the entire draft process is. Lots and lots of moving parts.
  12. I’ve said repeatedly that I’m no draft expert but just like every other Mock that I look at, I immediately go to the guys the Bills did NOT take who were available just a few picks later. In this case the Bills draft class would instead be: Nolen DT Ole Miss Porter, DB Iowa State Winslow, S Penn State Anybody?
  13. Traditionally the ceremony signifies the final major beam being lifted into place.
  14. This! All that matters is production for the team you’re on. Cook is simply average playing for the Bills. That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be great elsewhere…but the Bills simply don’t use him that way.
  15. Anyone know what the 15th and 17th ranked running backs make? As I said yesterday, Cook was 16th. Right behind Joe Mixon and just above Chase Brown.
  16. As I’ve often said I am definitely NOT a draft expert…but looking at the websites of those that apparently are it’s hard for me to believe that the Bills cannot find THREE solid starters out of our three picks in the first 62. Both DT and CB appear to have players that slot perfectly into when we’re on the clock. And that then leaves the third pick to go get a contributor at WR, DE at yet another position of need. Don’t screw this up!
  17. I’m not sure how this discussion got to where it is. Cook was SIXTEENTH in the league last year in rushing and averaged just a little over 60 yards per game. What is that level of production (or lack there of) worth in 2025? I’m guessing it isn’t worth anywhere near what James Cook apparently thinks it is.
  18. It’s an excellent question. I believe you’re referring to the structural frame of the ‘building’. There are many reasons for choosing one over the other. It may be nothing more than the availability of local tradesmen and materials. Steel tends to be lighter and erection is much faster with the beams and columns being fabricated offsite. Steel also tends to be more conducive to larger open concourse areas. And believe it or not it’s sometimes just what the design team members (architects and engineers) are more comfortable with and accustomed to. Keep in mind that the new stadium indeed has plenty of concrete. The seating risers are all precast treads and risers.
  19. Now they need to have the players wear special lenses that allow them to see the line to gain, projected across the field. 👍
  20. There simply isn’t that much to keep. The lower bowl is built right up against the ground. Only the two sideline upper decks are true above grade structures. I’m guessing the office building at the east end would be saved.
  21. CB and DT. DT and CB. In the end the order won’t mean much. The Bills need to get two starters out of those first two picks….period!
  22. One day Cook is going to figure out that foundering on a team with little to no chance of playing meaningful games in December and January isn’t worth the extra cash. You only get one career. In the end, your accomplishments mean way more to you than the pay check.
  23. If you read earlier, I suggested a suspension not a fine. The suspension would include the loss of a game check. THAT would indeed curtail it.
  24. Jack, it can be a bit deceiving at this point in the progress. What you’re seeing is the metal DECKING not the ROOFING. So it’s not yet weatherproof. There are still gaps between each deck section and thousands of holes in the decking itself. Not to mention that the V shaped design funnels water to a yet to be installed gutter and downspout system.
  25. Sounds right. The closer your seats get to the leading edge of the roof the more chance that wind blown rain will get to you. Remember, that roof is MANY stories above your seat and unless it’s completely calm out (which it rarely is when a weather front is moving through) you could get wet. Your best bet is to sit on the west side of the upper deck as most fronts come from the lake.
