Devin Singletary unlikely to play per Rapaport
Locomark replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bummer. Someone better have a longgggg talk with Yeldon about ball security ! -
Well shouldn’t have looked at Twitter this AM ....Rapoport is already saying Motor is not playing today.

What matters is that the new group has no memory of past failures against the Pats as Bills. That really matters because they don’t have the “here we go again mentality” that I heard in the stands last week when we blew the lead. Not losing that composure or pressing too much matters against quality opponents. I just wish more of our new guys had recent playoff experience!!!

Jim Kelly and Josh Allen Break Down Some Film Together
Locomark replied to stosh64's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FYI-----Jim Kelly threw for under 60% in 8 or his first 16 games and that's after 3 years of professional football in the USFL...... -
Sorry but shiny black unis look like an arena football team or a MAC team to me. That being said, you have some real design talent.

Schedule/playoff format suggestion:
Locomark replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never ever ever ever remove a first round bye from 1 or 2 teams. That's what the best team should be playing for. It is what makes it more likely you will see the best teams in the Super Bowl. Go to 7 playoff teams per conference. 1 Bye week for the best team and seed the next six 1-6. There needs to be a reward for being the best. -
Take the Ball if we win the toss.

Don't' worry about a choice. Belicheat will call the two headed coin as heads and defer.... -
I remember when I had my first beer.. I guess this is what Red Sox fans do when their team drops 30 games in the standings in 1 year. Well get used to 3rd place because the Patriots minus Brady will be doing the same in a few years loser!!!!!!!!!! I lived in Boston pre-Brady and more people rooted for Flutie and the Bills there.....

Bills featured on NFL Matchup
Locomark replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually think the Bills could win this game as a high 20s type game also. I think playing not to lose by playing this 16-13 type game is actually a bad strategy because ti allows the Pats to always win with 1 drive. Putting points on the board at home with our Dee puts way more pressure on them. -
Tom Brady billboard just beautiful!!

But if you look at the walker you will get a 15 yard penalty..... -
Yes to all of the above. Offense: a) I would also mix the 2 TE sets with wide open spread sets. Belicheck likes to disguise rushing LBs and who is blitzing. So make him go dime by putting 4 wide out there even if 1 is a split TE like Knox. THE KEY TO THIS GAME IS NOT TO BE CONSERVATIVE. We can run the ball from spread sets. That's what Thurman Thomas made a career doing. Lets make their little guys tackle Gore and Singletary. b) TE screen, WR screen - time to eliminate some over pursuit c) Some new variation to that Mckenzie flip play is coming d) Beasley or Knox in the seam routes when we drag the safeties deep Defense: a) I would have White follow Gordon. No one else scares me beyond 15 yards on that team. b) Jerry stunts- Pats will design a gameplan for the left side due to tackle injuries so stunt blitzes once in awhile to screw with their schemes c) HANDS UP EVERY PASS !!!!!! We are due for a deflection pick this game. Punt Game: a) No Penalties on returns would be nice for once

He looks like Dave Letterman in that Photo!!! -
We really cant gauge anything based on prior competition because of how poor it was for both teams. That leaves recent head to head history. Recent history shows our defense fares decently against Brady but has trouble with their running game. Recent history shows they will miss Gronk. The big unknown is Allen, the revamped offense, and Singletary. We don't have anything to hang our hat on with that. It is a complete unknown.

I officially believe that the Bills will win this weekend!
Locomark replied to Jobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know on Facebook where you get those reminders about things that happened in the past on this date? I got one a week ago where I was sure the Bills Defense would destroy Brady when our defense was a sack machine a few years ago and bragged about it pre-game with my Boston friends. We got destroyed. I know we have more talent now and a better QB, but I choose to err on the side of this is Brady and the Pats. Having expectations to win is good, but reality is always expect them to out coach and out QB us. The football gods need to give us some breaks to win. The great thing is most of this team has not been around for most of the losing so they have a different mindset than I do. -
Does anyone miss Zach Brown? Nigel Bradham?
Locomark replied to Markjaro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bradham is great against the pass but is a tip toe dancer when playing against the run. Watch him in the next game he is in. He is not a point of attack player. I do not like his lack of toughness for a team like ours. -
Last week I parked a few blocks East of Abbott but South of Southwestern. This way it way way easier to go East to get out then to go either South on Abbott or attempt Southwestern in either direction. You can take this to the skyway and head to NF.

At the Cinci game last week I watched them trying to jump the quick swirl or curl routes for Beasley. Time for coach to get Beasley on that out and up sideline route or try a deeper slant or seam route. We need to stretch the field on the Pats and Beasley in the seam / stick route might be a way to do it. He has more to his game and maybe this is the week that Dabol pulls it out. I know he had held onto things specifically because the Past were coming.

Normally I stress about the Pats game. Not this year because I don't care if they win this week. We win we look golden at 4-0, we lose we say so what we expected to be 3-1. Heart says we can win this 24-23, head says its the Pats and Allen will make some ***** mistakes pushing to get us from being behind and we lose 27 -19. The keys beyond the obvious turnover battle are 1) never getting down by more than 7 points 2) hit at least 2 passes over 30 yards 3) stop their run game which has really how they have beaten us the last few years and 4) special teams
