  1. I just can't believe Allen is this bad against good teams. All year people whining about Daboll pissed me off, as it was CLEAR the problem was execution. Again, missing 3 guaranteed 1st downs (at the minimum) on open targets is unacceptable for a starting NFL QB.
  2. Bills need a dome. Our QB's can't throw for **** in wind, especially Allen. He's consistently been the worst deep passer in the entire league, and wind isn't helping.
  3. This looks like one of those games where a QB we passed on makes all those threads earlier in the year saying "he's not that good" look stupid. Josh doing his best to repeat his Patriots performance.
  4. My rational mind initially thought 31-17 Ravens. But for whatever reason I keep leaning 23-17 Bills now, as some irrational optimism is pushing through & saying "signature win time!"
  5. I'm sorry, this is a game I just don't think this team will win. The Ravens front are big, strong dudes that push people around (often being referred to as "bullies"), and our strength has not been in our defensive front & stopping the run. Our LB's are good sideline to sideline, but Edmunds doesn't explode through the gaps & stuff the run, and Milano is a bit too small. You're more likely to see them making tackles in the secondary after Ingram or Jackson already broke through. It's also why our safeties have so many tackles. If we can at least wrap up & not allow them a ton of yards after contact, we can mitigate the damage. But racking up a ton of near sacks or blowing potential tackles for loss will kill us. The Ravens offense has shown they can score at will & are a multidimensional threat. The Bills can win games where they control time of possession, field position and don't turn the ball over, and aren't playing from behind for long. But there's no way we can keep pace putting up points if Baltimore keeps scoring like crazy. I desperately want us to win this game, but ultimately I'm hoping we just don't get embarrassed. 31-17 Ravens is my guess * * * * F*** it! Optimist in me is saying 23-17 Bills! We deserve this dammit!
  6. Do you not enjoy watching them lose? It's not like Fox (or the sports media members in general) have been kind to them. They're not out there raving about them or making excuses for them, if anything they're piling on more & more. I'm enjoying every minute of it, more Cowboys coverage please, it's hilarious!
  7. Well the YouTuber himself is the ONLY sports-related YouTuber I follow, because I enjoy his humor & that he doesn't take himself seriously. He's a diehard Brocnos fan, but covers the Bills all the time & has grown a big following. Plus its not just him sitting in his computer chair in front of a webcam rambling on about whatever, whenever. There's actual game footage, other video, and a proper format to each that makes it more enjoyable & entertaining. But the Bills fan himself? Once you see it, you'll remember instantly. "DALLAS IS GOING DOWN GARY!" and his "YAAAAAAH!" scream are legendary
  8. Mark Miller, the Bills fan made famous due to his intense screaming about Dallas going down (to Gary lol) returns with a message!
  9. Don't the Bills have some abysmal record under Allen when the opposing team scores 20 points or more? If that's the case, I think it's clear we need to somehow do what all these other teams have no been able to do...contain Lamar Jackson. In the past (with a different defense) we managed great feats like making Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers & Tom Brady look pedestrian in a several game stretch. Maybe this team can rise to the occasion & do that against Lamar. The 49ers held them to 20 points last week, but aside from that, the Ravens last few games they've scored 45, 41, 49, 37, and 30... That's insane, especially considering their opponents have averaged 12 points in those games ? Here's hoping the defensive game plan is strong, and that we really rise to challenge like we did against the Pats (only this time the offense will rise to the challenge too).
  10. And people still aren't happy with the amount of positive coverage we're getting...
  11. Still has a LONG way to go before even sniffing MVP level play, but your prediction of three success threshold seems spot on. Obviously limiting turnovers helps a lot too, but accuracy is just as important. I find it amusing though considering how many people last year claimed accuracy didn't matter, and completion percentage wasn't relevant. Seems it definitely is relevant.
  12. You know, that's a pretty decent argument. Steelers fans probably number close to Cowboys fans across the country, and they likely were interested in the game & seeing the Bills lose. That very well could've been it.
  13. That'd be nice, but honestly just rather see him destroying people stuffing the run. Not trying to be rude, but we know Edmunds isn't going to do it, so hopefully the D-line including Oliver can prevent it before Edmunds & Co. even get a shot at it.
  14. I'd like to see that too. Though the average was really high to begin with, it'd be interesting to see. It can't just be "a lot of people hate the Cowboys," because that would apply every year & every Thanksgiving game they play. They've also played plenty of big market teams & rivalry games, yet the Bills eclipsed those. And Dallas only being 6-5 isn't a huge draw on their end, as they've come into Thanksgiving games with better records plenty of times. I'm not sure how the NFL decides who gets the 4:30 game, but I'd assume the Cowboys get that spot most of the time too. Usually after Thanksgiving meal my family, friends & I all are tired & start dozing off, so normally I'd skip paying attention to this game. I think sports fans in general like to see an underdog, especially one they know hasn't been relevant in ages, and watch to see if they're for real. Even if we lose next week, as long as we keep it close, I think the general NFL fan will be convinced we're a legit team this year based on the Cowboys game alone since that's likely the only game of ours they've been able to watch this year. That performance will be ingrained in their mind, so going forward expect a lot of bandwagon Bills supporters (which I think is a great thing ?)
  15. If they start getting drive-extending penalties, yes. I will be livid. Nothing, and I mean absolutely NOTHING pisses me off more than a great play ruined by some a**hat running his mouth & drawing a flag, giving the opponent another shot at life. As long as that's not happening, they can flap their jaws all they want.
  16. Admittedly I haven't watched much TV coverage, haven't really been home much to watch. Just watching online coverage from Twitter/Facebook/YouTube which is showing clips from TV shows praising us. But in regards to internet articles, there's a TON of stuff out there hyping up the Bills. But perhaps the big shows are spending more time talking about the Cowboys, probably because Jerry Jones said he's sticking with Garrett, which of course is going to fuel outrage for another week.
  17. Just out of curiosity, I looked up the past 27 Cowboys Thanksgiving games: 2018: Cowboys 31, Redskins 23 (Divisional Rivalry, Tons of History) 2017: LA Chargers 28, Cowboys 6 (1st Thanksgiving game since moving back to LA) 2016: Cowboys 31, Redskins 26 (See above) 2015: Panthers 33, Cowboys 14 (Panthers 1st Thanksgiving game ever) 2014: Eagles 33, Cowboys 10 (Divisional Rivalry, Tons of History) 2013: Cowboys 31, Raiders 24 (Raiders have a huge national fanbase too) 2012: Redskins 38, Cowboys 31 2011: Cowboys 20, Dolphins 19 2010: Saints 30, Cowboys 27 2009: Cowboys 24, Raiders 7 2008: Cowboys 34, Seahawks 9 2007: Cowboys 34, NY Jets 3 2006: Cowboys 38, Buccaneers 10 2005: Broncos 24, Cowboys 21 (OT) 2004: Cowboys 21, Bears 7 2003: Dolphins 40, Cowboys 21 2002: Cowboys 27, Redskins 20 2001: Broncos 26, Cowboys 24 2000: Vikings 27, Cowboys 15 1999: Cowboys 20, Dolphins 0 1998: Vikings 46, Cowboys 36 1997: Oilers 27, Cowboys 14 1996: Redskins 10, Cowboys 21 1995: Cowboys 24, Chiefs 12 1994: Cowboys 42, Packers 31 (Bills lost to the Lions 21 to 35 on this Thanksgiving too) 1993: Dolphins 16, Cowboys 14 1992: Cowboys 30, NY Giants 3 Some big games, some duds, but nothing that particularly points to why THIS game had such massive ratings. Interesting to see they've played the Dolphins 4 times, tied with the Redskins for most games as the Cowboys opponents during that stretch. Guess the nation is just more interested in the Bills than the either of them
  18. I could go into great detail what I don't like about his game, but as I've said all year I'll keep my mouth shut once we beat a team with a winning record, and when he plays well for a full 4 quarters just once. He played well for a full 4 quarters against the Dolphins in game 2, and now he beat the Cowboys on the road in prime time. That's proof of development, which is all I wanted to see. So for the time being, no need to crap on the parade, rather just be proud of the team & hope for the best next week.
  19. The curiosity factor could definitely be it, but on the Cowboys side of things it feels weird since they ALWAYS play Thanksgiving. But for whatever reason, out of the last 27 Thanksgiving games the Cowboys have played, facing the Bills ended up drawing the most interest. That's just strange to me, but pretty cool at the same time. If anything, this should certainly guarantee us more prime time games next year. Bills are now officially a draw & ratings magnet ?
  20. Just read an interesting stat. The Bills are 11-0 when Josh Allen's completion percentage is 60% or higher. That's it, just 60% and we win. That'll be something to pay attention to going forward for sure.
  21. And most watched non-Super Bowl game on any network period the past 3 years. https://deadline.com/2019/11/buffalo-bills-dallas-cowboys-thanksgiving-day-game-most-watched-27-years-cbs-sports-1202797442/ 32.538 million viewers on average, with a peak of 35.453 million viewers. It was also the most watched TV program, sports or otherwise, since the Super Bowl in February. That's pretty incredible. Makes me curious as to why THIS specific game had such huge interest. Maybe a lot of closet Bills fans decided to check in & see if we were legit? Is the bandwagon about to get going again? Time will tell!
  22. That's the opposite that I'm getting. I'm seeing so much praise heaped upon the Bills it's insane. They're acting like we just beat a world beater of a team. I haven't been able to escape the overflow of Bills praise from the media lately. Of course, there's a ton of people crapping on the Cowboys, but nobody is taking anything away from the Bills or saying the Bills didn't prove they were a top team.
  23. I dunno, is Zay Jones still a bust? A lot of people claimed he was a bust his rookie year, but others argued he would be fine, it was just adjusting to the NFL and needed a couple years. Now that those years have passed, how I'm guessing he's killing it now? Point being, giving these guys more time doesn't necessarily change anything. Some players you can tell when they're rookies, others need that time. Aaron Maybin was a bust right away, Oliver could go either way. We don't now yet, but pointing to a game or 2 for either side of the argument doesn't make sense.
  24. This offense must be cursed. How many times can you get into great field position only to move backwards??? There's gotta be something mentally preventing them from being successful. There's no way you can be so consistent in negative plays/penalties everytime you're threatening success.
  25. Two turnovers in a row. Can't say we're a good team if we come away with 0. The offense needs to pull its weight, not go 3 and out, settling for 50+ yard field goals. But of course we're, going backwards to start each drive.
