  1. Your response and the quoted portion mentioned Clowney. At this point KC wanted to move on from ford after the playoff blunder. If he doesnt line up terribly Offside KC advances to the superbowl. Clark is a more disruptive player than Ford or Houston, with their departure they had a big need for a edge rusher.
  2. Comes down to what they want. If Houston wants to move up that would bring Buffalo into it. Swap 1s next year 2? Could be the ticket. Seattle needed more picks. Houston has a full set of picks but may want to move up for a better Oline prospect.
  3. Your quoting a GM who traded their 17th pick Haha. Swap 1s for Clowney. Pick the best pass catcher. Fant, Metcalf or Butler. That would be a big win.
  4. Having a guy in the the backfield who can block or catch is a big get for the growth of Allen. Yeldon imo could be a poor man's Bell in a sense. Move him around the formation and get him the ball underneath vs LB. Daboll is trying to add some easy throws for Allen underneath. Beasly for the slot, running the routes Welker, Edelman and Amendola ran. Yeldon in a James White type role makes sense too.
  5. I dont know how much upside Jonah Williams has left. Alamaba coach the Oline well. He already seems to get it mentally, physically he is not dominating and plays with good technique and footwork. He sounds like a guy who has reached his ceiling to me. What does that looks like as an NFL lineman? Idk probably ok most the time but can get overwhelmed by the elite guys. That is not the kind of pick I want in the top 10.
  6. The tackle he played with is an athletic freak. Imo Lawerence is the least talked about tackle but may go earlier than some think. I think Lawrence goes before Wilkins. Honestly, it's a numbers game aswell. Wilkins is a first rd talent at DT. There are multiple guys on the defense interior, depending what defense you run Wilkins could be the 5th.
  7. I expect they wait til after the draft. If they dont get a guy they like I think they sign him.
  8. I think its Clark or Clowney if the elite defenders are gone. I would offer swapping 1s maybe throw in one of the extra day 3 picks. I think Clowney is a better match with Hughes. I think Hughes and Clark are similar players. Clowney brings more Power and can help sure up the run defense. Once he is out of Watts shadow and can get more control of where and who he lines up against on pass rushing situations his numbers will sky rocket.
  9. With the Yeldon visit they are waiting til rd 4.
  10. This is super B.S season. It's all lies. These are all leaks from teams maneuvering. The only team that has showed some cards are Oakland. They kicked our all their scouts til the draft. They are trading up. From where to who that's another thing.
  11. He was one of the first media guys on Allen early. He gains alot by Allen's success. Allen wasnt given half feild throws, he didn't have a run game, his oline was bad. Buffalo corrects the Oline and makes the defense respect the running game I am confident Buffalo makes the playoffs. An impact player outside on offense and on the defensive front Buffalo is a legitimate team in the AFC.
  12. I look it as, Buffalo needs youth at RB behind McCoy and Gore. In the draft they like a few guys. I dont see them doing anything at running back til rd 3 or day 3. If their guys are gone so be it. Yeldon is their insurance policy. Before the draft I can see it would be hard for a Rb to get close to the money they want when any team is expecting at least a shot at one of the guys they like at a value they covet.
  13. Hes in the running I bet.
  14. Is Metcalfs floor that low? He could be a #1 wr or a much larger Jon Brown.
  15. The offense has 0 play makers. If they go D.K Metcalf, Allen will have a guy who has a huge catch radius needed, and a guy who is a chore to tackle, who can run past any defender a playmaker. Get Metcalf in a professional weight training program. A little less heavy lifting and more range of motion and look out. His dad was a 10 year NFL lineman, and his uncle was one of the best return men in NFL history. He has the pedigree. Run go, Comback, Slant, Cross, Post. He easily the top prospect because his game easily transitions to the NFL. If his neck is healed it's a pretty simple decision.
  16. Hes a legitimate impact defender. He lives in the backfield whether its run or pass. There is more to defense than accumulating sacks. Over the past year and 1/2 alot of Watts sacks are do to Clowney. I think you put him on the most favorable matchup on third down and he gets well over double digits.
  17. Williams is the best defender in the draft. It's very unlikely he makes it to 5 let alone 9. Williams is a no brainer at 9. He is the same athlete Oliver is but weighs 40 more pds.
  18. Give me Clowney over Clark. Clowney is perfect opposite Hughes. On passing downs Clowney is a matchup nightmare and can rush from any position. This past year he has had a sack from LDE, RDE, 3 Tech, RE 2 point stance, ILB off the line. In terms of impact plays he brings them in spades. They have Watt making massive money and is a pilar of the community. I dont see how you can pay 2 DEs 100 mil, Hopkins will want more money, and Watson is a few years away from alot of money too.
  19. I think it's more a question of afford. Watt massive deal, Hopkins? Watson? I dont see them being able to pay all of them.
  20. I could see Seattle looking for picks. Trade 40 and 2 4th rders. They could go so many ways this year.
  21. Was Rosen's line worse? Or was Allen more mobile and able to escape pressure better? What measure are we determining line play? I think Rosen can succeed in the right situation. NYG or any playoff team with an aging QB. I think he ends up in NE when it's all said and done.
  22. I agree with you but Mario was a top 5 sack producer for about 3 years. They overpaid but got production.
  23. Dareus was best at as 3 technique. His best year he went to whatever side he preferred.
  24. Neither did Dareus
  25. Late rd flyier. With a vertical passing attack having a poor man's version of your Qb makes sense.
