He would be the equivlant to a 6th man in the NBA. They all are not playing every snap. The wont play 4 wide all game either. But man thats an explosive offense. You could argue Buffalo would have the weapons that Tompa Bay and Kc has maybe even better. Go for it. The Bucs and Chiefs are not going away gotta go beat them.

What will josh allens contract look like?
Mat68 replied to arcadia bob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it will be longer and a little more digestable. I think its over 200 mil but essentaily 6 years. -
Bills sign DT Treyvon Hester

2 down run stuffers are becoming 2 down linebakers. Its been proven running on first down and second down is the least efficent way to play offense. I think Mcdermott welcomes it. Almost dares you to do it. Run the ball and create 0 offensive rythem. When you need a pass you wont be able to do it. -
Urban just can’t quit Tebow! (Update - Cut by Jags)

This is some Bills circa 2009 crapola. Russell Brandon would love this move. -
Does Gregory Rousseau need "redshirt" year?
Mat68 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont see the comparison. Rousseau is is skinny at 260. Maybin blew up to 240 at the combine and I dont he ever played over 230 in the NFL. Maybin got his sack turning the corner around tes and Rts in the Big 10. Rousseau had more variance and ability in 1 year at the position. I get you see those videos at rookie camp and he looks small. Hes 6-7 260 plus. He is prototypical size. He has elite get off. Thats the best thing. Watch JJ watt sacks. 90% of his sacks are what Rousseau did. -

Buffalo having a high grade on Rousseau tells you they dont agree with the internet scouts that label him a project. -

There were guys who dressed at De on game day for there special teams ability. They got in rotation. At worst Rousseau is a massive upgrade over them. I think he has a chance to push Addison, and Epenesa for ligitament playing time. -
Works out well for me. Before we got married my wife and I spent a weekend in NO. My wife always wanted to go back. She also isnt fan Thankgiving. Dropping my boys with their Grandparents and having a mini vacation and watch the Bills.

Bills interested in CB Steven Nelson

If buffalo extends Allen soon, alot of cash upfront. Move money around to open up cap space this year and next. Could do the same with Edmunds. -
Can Patriots challenge with run first offense this year?
Mat68 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. They over paid for everyone. I expect them to be 9-8 at best. Agilor and Bourne are good 3rd Wrs. -
Looking forward to spending Thanksgiving in NO.

I dont believe any of it. Its like the draft. Random stooges say random rumors to advertise the release tomorrow.

I think Moss could be a guy if he is healthy. Singeltary is not flashy but gets positive yards. Breida has the potential to make big plays. Williams showed well enough and stole the soul of a defeated team vs Miami. Not flashy but probably the right amount of resources dedicated.

No starters from the draft? Not exactly true.

I would be dissapointed if Rousseau cant take the job from Addison early on. I think by the end of camp he is LE. Basham replaces Johnson is the rotation. Johnson has not developed into anything more than a special teams player. I think Beane closes the book on de special teamers. -
RD 1, Pick 30: Greg Rousseau, Edge (Miami) Public Poll Added
Mat68 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The comp is Cilias Campbell. Same school similar size, similar measurables. Covid 19 allowed a player like Rousseau to fall. As a redshirt freshman first time playing de got 15.5 sacks. If he had 1/2 that production last year he is a top 20 pick. -
Zach Ertz about to be traded? [Edit: or Not]
Mat68 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Indeed... but it looks closer to Brian Johnson to me. -

They need size upfront. I think Mcdermott like him and will do what they have done with all of his first rd picks. Allen, Edmunds, Oliver all raw but played. -

I think Rousseau starts. Too big and talented not to imo. -

Buffalo will need to do some cap gymnastics but I assume they would be in on him. If he actually becomes a Bill this would go against every historical indicator for threads of this level of size and substance. -
RD 3, Pick 30 (93): Spencer Brown, OT (Northern Iowa)
Mat68 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brown could become Jason Peters. He was a project that became elite. His size and athletic ability is rare. Protect Allen. Seems like he quickly removes Bobby Hart from any chance at the 53. -
RD 6, pick 19 (203): Marquez Stevenson, WR (Houston)

Diggs and Sanders are examples of day 3 guys making a team and making an impact. Similar builds and skill sets as well. You can see a path of how it works. -

Rousseau looks slow but like his 10 yard split and 40 tell you otherwise. Every other DE under 4.7 on the 40 are athletic except Rousseau. He is unconventional, but productive. Give him some technique and coaching he could be a beast. -
I want to see Baker play well with Beckham before I believe it. I want to see Difanski utilize an elite wr to the the peak of there ability. Clowney fixes the pass rush without a knee... Cle is good but they lost depth on the dline and added Clowney who is 3 years removed from impacting a defense.
