Week 11 TNF: Zona at Seattle Battle of the Birds
njbuff replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And the catch wasn’t a catch. Al Riveron strikes against the Bills again. -
So, now we find out that the catch wasn’t a catch after all.

They easily could, but they don't click on all cylinders during games to give themselves easy wins. And when you keep opponents in games, NO MATTER WHO THE OPPOSITION IS, you will get picked off. I am forgetting about the HaIl Joke for a minute........... How is it that when you build a 23-9 lead, then all of a sudden fall off the planet after that? Not good. Just about every Bills win has been a merry-go-round this year and unless they can adopt a bulls-by-the-horn method of closing out these games.......... how can we expect the Bills doing any better than 4-2 with the remaining schedule. They can obviously win them all, but will they realistically do that the way they have played the first 10 games?

Ok This Dolphins talk is getting out of hand.

Back to the title of this thread. The Dolphins talk isn't out of hand when they are a half game out of being tied for the division lead with three cupcakes coming up on their schedule. Plus, Lady Luck is NOT with the Bills right now. The Dolphins beat the Cardinals the week prior to last because Murray couldn't hit an open receiver on a simple 3rd and 1, and consequently, the Cardinals FG K came up short on a 49 yard FG attempt...... IN-FREAKING-DOORS. And then we all know what happened Sunday. Just bad luck for the Bills. Dolphins have the momentum and the schedule in their favor for the short term. The Bills have the talent and the heart to STILL leave the Dolphins in the dust, but the arrow certainly isn't pointing up for the Bills as we speak. -
Winning teams vs. winning teams
njbuff replied to Tortured Soul's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Imagine if the Bills can actually play a consistent 60 minute game to boot. The Bills seem to do enough to keep themselves and their opponents in the game until the end and the Bills find a way to pull it out 70% of the time no matter how well or how poorly they have played up until the end of games. A 7-3 record sounds about right. -
Give Yeldon a shot. At least he is an outstanding receiver out of the backfield.

Still haven’t seen Allen’s potential
njbuff replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen has put his team on his back and basically won the game yesterday against a good team. Other than the WR position, the rest of the ENTIRE team owes Allen an apology and thank him for carrying this team. It’s John Elway 2.0 in that regard -
You think Neal can play outside, or no shot?
-
Josh Norman??? The gift that keeps on giving. Knox had better gain Allen’s trust in a hurry now.

We all would love to see a strong Bills performance which puts them right back in elite status. Let's hope they don't come out as flat as they did against Tennessee where a turnover right away basically said the Bills aren't showing up today.

Best single play in Bills history

How about Andre Reed breaking tackles against NE in the 1993 opener? He also scored 3 TD's that game. -
