  1. Britesmith Brewing is there also. Great atmosphere even if I find their beer to be very basic for craft brewing
  2. I am happy you brought this up as the city of Buffalo itself finally has a good diversity of options that are not beer wings and pizza. Here is a good breakdown of the top family friendly stuff which is in different areas of the city: Canalside/Downtown: Children's museum, carousel, canalside itself and it has boat rides, Sabre store typically is open, naval park, and Pierce Arrow Museum are all in an easy vicinity where you can walk or easy cab ride. There are plenty of eating options from Pearl St, Draft Room, or Southern Tier for starters Outer Harbor: Riverworks is a chaotic mix of everything and has a lot to do and eat, the outer harbor park has really turned into a nice area for those more outdoorsy, and Tiff Farm is right down the street too. Food wise it is more Riverworks, but the South Park area is a drive down the street with some food and the botanical gardes. These two are both by the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Delaware Park & the Zoo which all three are great places themselves to go to with kids and after stop by one of these areas for food or coffee or shopping. Elmwood (south of that area): Still a good spot with a mix of shops, coffee places, and food/drink (maybe not as great as a decade ago but still good) Hertel (north of that area between Delaware Ave to Parkside Ave): Hertel to me is the most up and coming spot at this time. They have a great mix of food and drink options but some really cool stores including a few with Bills apparel that is way cheaper then the major stores.
  3. Haha hey I got something right lol
  4. Typically team goes on field around 12ish. They come out in waves so if you are there at 12 you will def see them. I brought my four year old last year and he loved it.
  5. I have also found stubhub has fallen big time for the service they use to provide unfortunately and I really do not use them much anymore.
  6. So the issue with fan votes, crazy amount of throwbacks etc.. is the loss of identity a team can have and the safety piece with the multiple helmets. I understand fans liking multiple looks and it certainly is good to an extent, but their becomes a point where it goes too far. I have appreciated that the Pegula's with both teams (Sabres took a little longer to get back to where they should've) have kept the same look and not really done anything too wild. Some of the best looks in the NFL are teams that really have not gone too wild like Green Bay Pittsburgh etc.. Atlanta is an example of what happens when you can't find a consistent look and keep going for trendy over solid. I do think the Bills are missing an opportunity revenue wise and fan wise by not doing the red helmet yet, but the league also drags its feet to the point doing a change can take 2-3 years from the moment its approved for even an alternate. So it is very possible the Bills do have a red helmet in the works and it literally is a time crunch. I have personally felt their current look is superior to everything and doing the AFL throwback 2 times a year is enough. If they add the 90s red for a game or two also, then great but I am happy that they have a consistently good look and have avoided the dreaded revision "upgrade" some teams drift to. Helmet wise even though the NFL has approved two helmets now, inventory is still an issue for teams and I have to imagine some teams are skittish to have two helmets with all the head injury issues. Add in the injury with Hamlin last year and I can easily see the Bills punting to another year before going down that road. Some may say that is small potatoes, but between Hamlin and then Pegula's wife the organization has dealt with some major medical issues across the board and I can understand not wanting to press on something the league just got back into.
  7. The AFC East reminds me a bit of last years AFC West. Young up and coming QB with a talented roster LAC/MIA, Older popular vet QB on a younger up and coming team DEN/NYJ, and ceiling limited but if everything goes right they can be a problem NE/LV. I think Miami has a higher ceiling then the Chargers IF Tua is healthy and the Jets just by Rodgers playing adequate are more formidable then the Broncos were (granted that isn't saying much as Hackett was atrocious). With that said though the questions on Tua's health/their defense coming together and Rodgers showing he still has something mixed a coaching staff that hasn't hit .500 are real and valid. I get many want to believe Rodgers just morphs back to MVP form, but age is undefeated and really Brady is the only QB that played at a super high level from 40 on. Again for the Jets even if he is not MVP form but adequate it is still a colossal upgrade, but I am not as bullish on the Jets as a contender as some.
  8. It is beyond depressing that a team with the history the Pirates have and a stadium as nice as they have is consistently an abomination to the sport. Nutting is probably top 3 worst owners with Snyder gone.
  9. For a small period of time with Moore they had a good strategy and did what small market teams should which is develop young talent and mix in prime talent through trades. Then Ventura passed who was their ace and they spent money on vets in the worst ways possible and it was over. Overall across 30 years they are at the bottom with the Pirates as worst orgs in baseball and sports. Now the new owner is more focused right now on the stadium and it will not be an overnight fix so time will be the great determiner, but when the MLB has more chances to make the playoffs then ever you still can't even have fun of being in the hunt in KC. I understand US sports culture is Ring or Nothing obsessed as validating success, but realistically that is an atrocious way to view how strong a team is. The Rays like you said have done wonders with smart drafting and development despite nothing as a payroll. The As until recently were the same. I have thought the Eagles since Loria bought them have been a model NFL team for two decades and they have been rewarded with a ring finally. The Chiefs themselves were pretty good prior to Mahomes and then it hit. Consistency, a solid plan, and patience is why the Steelers have had success basically every decade and the Lions have been well the Lions.
  10. As a Royals fan please leave us out of this. We are the worst team in professional sports and despite drafting at the top for years have no players in the MLB top 50 prospects. Basically we are allowed 2x world series runs every 30 years and go back to irrelevance.
  11. I will agree your post have been adequate of late 😁 You may not have won the offseason, but you 100% have a franchise QB in the making
  12. This is so going on my fridge at home so my wife can see my hard work. Might even laminate it!
  13. Maybe he just means you all have nice butts lol
  14. Gunner was legit this year. I am disappointed I did not win schedule and logistics guru of the year award
  15. As long as Josh is healthy and in his prime I feel fine that they will make the playoffs every year with a shot at the SB. Even last year when the Bills were the SB favs their odds were like 12% to go the distance. Brady & Rodgers both won SBs as a WC, Stafford and the Rams were the 4 seed in 2021-22 and went the distance. Take Brady out of the equation and you realize almost all the top QBs since the 90s who get a ring needed a little luck or right situation (or both) when their time comes. This years Bills roster is almost equal on paper minus Edmunds gone and the offense right now I feel better with then last year. Division is tougher as is the AFC, but playoffs still should be an absolute. After that its where fortune and Allen can take us.
  16. Ron always seemed temporary to me as Kim unfortunately had to be moved to side with her illness and they needed someone for a while to drive the ship. Again I am a bit surprised that he is gone so soon and I really like him. My thought has been though Terry will be passing the team down to Jessie.
  17. Naw he was the dude leading it and from what it had seemed his job was to get everything to shovels in ground. I myself had thought he be around longer and truthfully I thought his messaging was superb, but guess he is out now.
  18. To me these five will determine so so much on the Bills season: at KC at CIN MIA home NYJ home Jags London For the division to be ours you gotta go at minimum 3-2 in those games, anything less and wildcard itself is an issue. You really shouldn't lose to NYJ or MIA at home but if your 3-2 in those five your ok AFC win wise. The Bills have I consider wins or else VEG, NYG, TB, DEN, & WSH. You cannot lose any of those given the rest of the schedule. If they are 3-2 in the top 5 and win the 5 they should they are 8-2 and if you split the remaining 8 your 11-6 which probably gets the divsion.
  19. The browns look their best when they are using white and orange and just accent of brown.
  20. lol I was at that practice and as the players are coming out you see this commotion and then Kolb walks away. We were all very confused until twitter started giving updates. EJ ended up starting the whole practice and at the time as a rookie he actually did not look bad and showed some flashes. But the Kolb thing was forever wild.
  21. You tell em Mr Met! Too many talented RBs now were he is replaceable. They literally got rid of Singletary and between Cooks being cheaper/possibly more talented and Harris/Murray taking vet minimum contracts BUF backfield is potentially better. The position just has too much talent these days so cheap replacements are everywhere. Ralph wouldn't know what to do with himself these days lol
  22. What is interesting to me is so many people see him doing a Manning type comeback DEN in NY. Thing no one is mentioning is Peyton was 4 years younger with a full year of recovery when he came to DEN. Rodgers is already coming off some injuries and walking in 4 years older which matters. I still think Rodgers can easily elevate the Jets to a playoff team and if he can get back to being top 10 a SB contender. Their QB play has been just so bad for a long time while having a good defense for a bit that even just adequate makes them a possible playoff squad. Rodgers does take good care of his body so could he return to an MVP level? Maybe, but I think above average is more likely which still is big.
  23. You mean like winning the game that clinched a playoff birth? Bro Fitzpatrick statistically and win/loss wise was worse then Taylor across the board in his time in Buffalo. The 2017 week 1 matchup of Buffalo NYJ was billed as the toilet bowl because everyone thought each team would be so bad it might be their only win. Yay we beat NE at home to end a losing streak to go to 3-0...in a year they finished 7-9. The 2017 team who made the playoffs actually beat the NFC champs in their house and won in KC who was a playoff team. I get Fitz is beloved as a dude by Bills fans, but he was a mediocre journeyman QB at best outside of one good year in NY. Your basically proving the posters point that Taylor deserves more respect with everything you said.
