  1. There is legitimate reason to believe the Bears can at least compete for the playoffs. They do have some true talent on offense and if Williams is average in year 1 they will move the ball. Their defense actually was pretty decent last year and if you take a look at their losses in the first half of the year most of them were pretty close if not Bills Drought level heartbreak bad on few (ie DEN especially). Their schedule has some tough games but certainly some winnable ones. I am not saying they will be 12-5 this year, but I do think come end of DEC they either will be in the WC spot or able to win and in situation.
  2. Keep wondering if that Detroit game becomes one of those Saturday games they do in December that they put in a spot later on
  3. So Joe Buck said two MNF games, wonder if Chiefs is the other game? Also wonder if BUF gets 4 primetime games at this point given the reports: KC/NYJ MNF 49ers SNF and Phins TNF. BAL DET SEA LAR all 4:25 games which still gives Buffalo 8 games not at 1pm? Although I have thought forever either LAR or SEA is a primetime game just given market size
  4. Pretty sure its Titans as the NFL generally avoids back to back divisional games early given they need them later on for the end of the year AND if the Bills finish at home week 17 Jets and week 18 Pats as reported then it feels safe to say we probably don't open against division.
  5. I believe the Jets game was squashed because of the international game but I could be wrong
  6. Looking like I may have nailed the home opener with how its all trending and I feel good that we finish in NYJ
  7. NFL since it started TNF week 2 on in 2012 has had the team away week2 on TNF home week 1 Sunday. No exceptions or adjustments that has been their standard. That is too short of rest also for TNF to have a MNF game
  8. He is implying that blaming London for a super freak injury is stupid. Freak injuries happen all over every year whether overseas or not. There is a more compelling argument of against the turf in DET/NOLA and those injuries then what happened to Milano. And the truth was that Chiefs game Buffalo had to basically be perfect and they got an A-/B+. Happens sh*tty luck
  9. I have kind of thought they are going to sign a vet CB also, but I think if they can get Thomas or Davis for relatively low cap they bring one in.
  10. Too much traveling in the DeLorean eh Doc?
  11. We really do. The like last time I think we looked at the schedule and said ok there is opportunity was 2019. That year setup so well if the Bills were able to beat the Jets to get in. 2020 I distinctly remember everyone saying we should win the division but the lineup of opponents was super tough... and then they went 13-3.
  12. So the NFL runs through 100,000+ schedules until apparently there is one that makes the mold. In prior years it was literally ready like 2-3 days before Thursday so it is a narrow time frame. I think because of the draft this year and the QBs drafted etc.. it through things for a loop with 6 first round QBs.
  13. My fandom started because of the 1990 Bills team. When I would go to my grandparents he had the 1990 Bills Yearbook, watched that thing 24/7. He also had on tape a replay of the comeback game. Everything built from there. I remember back in the non electronic ticket days going downtown to a ticket office and my dad grabbing tickets for a game mid 90s. My first playoff game I ever got to go to was the 2023 game vs Miami. I legit cried a little during kickoff just thinking about the family connection and the fact I finally got to see a game in person. It was fun haha
  14. I remember like 2006 or 2007 the schedule just came out non descript and WGR afternoon show had the fun idea of fans calling in to go through and predict the schedule win or loss. I got the Vikings game and called some stupid blowout like 30-10. The Bills actually did beat MIN that game but it was 17-12 lol.
  15. I think people are overvaluing the HOU game a bit. For years people said KC BUF is a guaranteed night game, yet the last two years were the national 4:25 game. Not saying it can't be a primetime game (I have below), but I feel like every season we have a few games we think are at night like KC/PHI last year.... and then we end up hosting DEN/NYG/TB and those two move to the national Sunday window.
  16. Flipside is their fans lose one home game and potentially another that is far easier to attend. If I were a Jags fan the amount of time they go to London would be greatly troubling to me.
  17. My thought has been Pegula is having Laura take the team and the money he gets for selling 25% is basically a payoff to the other kids not receiving the kid.
  18. This is one of those situations where just because you can do something does not mean you SHOULD actually do that thing
  19. they were on the road in 23' week 1. The NFL typically tries to rotate back and forth with that for the most part.
  20. I think the NFL views it Josh Allen then Jets then Phins. Phins have taken a lot of hits personnel wise and despite two back to back playoff years they have not won anything. The Jets have the greatest intrigue factor to me because if Rodgers is literally just league average their probably a 10-11 win team and I think the NFL thinks the same
  21. My buddy told me the PATS probably are road week 1 and home week two as week 1 they have MLS game at stadium day before
  22. I would expect the schedule to be closer to 2022 where the Bills had 5 primetime games, thanksgiving, a flexed Saturday game, and the Chiefs at 4:25. Still ended up with half the schedule not at 1pm, but 8 games at 1. Even with the NFC West teams this year I think you see closer to 7-8 1pm games.
  23. Again I think the Bills would be rather pissed off to have another year out of the gate on the road and in primetime.
  24. My schedule has 8 and last year they had 5 but the Jags game prob would’ve been 1 pm and the dolphins got flexed. They still have 8 non 1pm games in my schedule with a flex left for week 18 and flex ability for another primetime game. Given the dogs the NFL has had in quite a few matchups later in the year I can 100% see them letting a team like BUF have a 1pm game that can be flexed in if needed if the other matchup fails.
