I'm still amazed that our season was saved by that penalty. When he scored, I was thinking that we might have a shot with over a minute and 2 timeouts. But we would have needed a TD, and KC's defense was stingy the whole game. Would have been tough. We've had a lot of breaks go against us, so no complaints about one going our way.

The 2nd half was a head-scratcher - but I'm willing to give a pass on that, especially against KC's D, which is one of the best. Overall, he's been really good. The 3 passes at the end, though....

He's "finished?" The guy is 22, played pretty well in his moments last season, and supposedly was nursing an ankle injury when he played this season. He's not finished.

I liked the way McD was calling the D at the end, even though it had some mixed results. It feels like he tends to go in "prevent" mode if we had a lead, but we were blitzing almost the whole time on that last Chiefs drive & playing very aggressive. The issue w/ the game was Brady's playcalling on our last drive. I thought he called a good game overall, but when the clock was at 2:12, 3 passes in a row, allowing KC to preserve their remaining timeouts and still have 2 minutes, was not the way to go.

Emotions get the best of many players. And Mahomes has had 2 weeks in a row of game-deciding calls. The thing is, LAST week is the one he should have complained about. Not the one that was actually a correct call. The worst part was his comment to Allen. I don't think I've seen a player do that before.

I'll kind of answer the 1st question - they DO have a great rush. But we've faced other top tier lines, and Allen has had much more time. He was harried all day today. And when the line gave him a little time, it turns out they had to hold. They were off today. They've gotta do better than that if we're going to make a run.

This league is crazy - and both Denver & Cleveland are pretty middlin'. They could both lose more than we'd think right now.

Luck really went our way in this one. That lateral felt like just another one we'd have to add to the list of "rip heart out of chest, throw it in a mud puddle and stomp on it" insane plays that led to Bills losses.

How can Mahomes say that was the "worst call?" Was he behind center, and also watching objectively from the side, right on the LOS?

Next week is yet another "game of the year," or "must win," or any other dramatic thing you want to call it Cowboys are a tough out, but I like our chances at home. Some of these games - like today & against Philly - it feels like we should have scored more than we did. Maybe not a great statement about the coaching, but the team is on par w/ anyone. We basically had a good half today. We need the full 60 next week.

I hope they fine Mahomes one of his Lombardis.

"To take away greatness like that" - my lord, is that entitled. Maybe talk to Toney there, Pat. Are refs supposed to swallow their whistles when they see a great play w/ a penalty, and just marvel?

I'm usually okay w/ Mahomes - but he was a baby tonight.

Mahomes complaining about refs? Did he see KC's win over Cincy in the playoffs last year? Did he watch KC's SB win?

Spags clearly focused on him, imo. He hasn't done much in the past few games - but I don't think he's done at all.

Game of inches. We got very lucky, though. The usual issues did present themselves - but we got bailed out by a receiver who was an inch into the neutral zone. A W is a W, but it doesn't alleviate my trepidation in close games.

Murray's was borderline - hard to overturn the call on the field either way.

Bills fans - we would not have deserved to have what we thought was gonna happen, happen AGAIN. We deserve this one. We had this one coming.

Is that 3 in a row against KC now?

Oh, dear. Our "end of game" problem. Let's flip the script. For my sanity, if nothing else.

Nice of us to leave a ton of clock left for KC. Do NOT understand the playcalling, at all.
