The game is about the fans. That 2nd tripping called robbed all fans - Cowboys fans, national fans, and even Patriots fans. That game was a long slog, and not very entertaining. But it had a chance to be - w/ the Cowboys in 4 down territory, it COULD have been an epic finish, with either Dak coming through w/ a game-winning TD, or the heralded NE defense stepping up for a dramatic 4th down stop. But no. The refs took the game into their own hands, and decided it - without drama, excitement or suspense. They just called it right there with 2 minutes to go, instead of letting players play, and decide it on the field. On a completely phantom call, as the NFL now acknowledges (kinda reminds me of the phantom holding in the SB last year, just when the Rams were starting a real drive). It's truly sickening. These things go the Pats way beyond what the law of averages could possibly allow.

I usually drink a ton on Thanksgiving Day. I also drink a ton during Bills games. And I love late afternoon drinking in general. It's like a perfect storm.

Niners are very good - young team, too. They could have another dynasty in the making. I still wish we had faced the previous one in '90, instead of the Giants. It would have been a better match up for the Bills.

The stage is all set for a dramatic, emotional win that sets them up for a loss on a shortened week. C'mon, universe. Throw us a bone.

We've seen this w/ other great teams in history, when they're declining. They pull out some wins just based on aura. The Pats are on their last legs. But they'll still win because they're in other team's heads.

With the exception of the incomparable Frank Gore, it was a total youth movement today: Allen, Tre, Shaq, Oliver, Singeltary, Milano - we have a lot of very good young playmakers. Well, I guess Beasley's getting a little older. But you get the picture.

Please. "Brutal supporting cast" - for the 1st time in his professional life, he has a normal, average team. And still has the greatest coach in history. Cry me a river, that goes into an estuary, that feeds into the ocean.

I don't think there is anything else in the world that I hate more than that horn they play at home games.

Save Singletary for Thursday - this game is over.

I love it, but it really bothers me that it was called incomplete - if they're not sure, they usually call TD so they can review. What is it w/ refs & the Bills?

We can never seem to get it inside the 10. I mean, the 11 is okay, but getting it to the 5 or less really changes it for the D. I suppose I'm asking for too much...
