  1. I was a little bummed that McD brought up Belichick in the post-game last time. I was concerned that he was like Rex. I thought BB was too in his head, and that it wouldn't bode well for future match-ups. McD really proved me wrong today. He came in w/ the plan needed to win this game, and both he & Daboll were outstanding. I loved how aggressive they were today - it made the difference. He did the out-coaching this time around.
  2. How does this game affect our WC chances? J/k - that mindset is so 9.5 hours ago.
  3. Great write-up - covered all the bases. I loved the line about winning every play. They kind of did. Obviously, NE had a few drives that were nice - but even on those, it didn't feel like we let up. We weren't going to be denied in that game. One of the top 5 wins the Bills have had, at least for me, including the SB years. I don't think people realize how significant this was - to not let the Pats just take the division back & get a sweep a year after we were on top. Their fans were feeling it, and we were already hearing the chatter about how we blew our 1-year window. This is the Bills division now.
  4. Belichick really respects Allen. In the wind game & today, he went out of his way to seek Allen out after the game, and it was pretty clear he was impressed.
  5. I've been very critical of Jones - but mainly because the hype was so over the top. We won't know on any of the rookie QB's for a few years. I don't really know where Jones will end up. Probably somewhere between the hype & how he looked today.
  6. Teams need some attitude. Guys like Diggs & Poyer really give us that.
  7. They've been pretty magnificent since the 2nd half against the Bucs. Today was amazing. Allen had time in the pocket on almost every throw. They were opening holes for the running game. They were depleted & lost a guy during the game - and played just as well. And that front for NE is no joke. They're the key. If they keep this up, it will be very tough to stop this team.
  8. There is no other QB I'd rather have. He's so determined and competitive. This team is in good hands for a long time.
  9. I'm mainly thinking about all of the good Bills plays. But I was concerned about Jones for a bit earlier in the season. Now, not so much. He's just a rookie, and of course he could develop & be very good - but he was so overhyped. He looked like a rookie, and like a typical game manager.
  10. I like it, personally. Sullivan put a chip on his shoulder - he didn't forget. It's the Tom Brady school of "let even the smallest slight motivate you."
  11. What a difference 24 hours makes. Yesterday, my brain was in a pretzel trying to think through the WC scenarios and who we need to root for. Today, back in 1st place in the AFCE. Season ain't over yet, but it's nice to be back in control of our destiny. I've been smiling since the end of the game. I like these kinds of Sundays. Best win of the year.
  12. They're actually BLAMING THE OFFICIALS. You can't make it up. And I've seen quite a few of them call Milano's late hit on Jones "dirty." Which is ridiculous. Oh, well. They're gonna have to get used to this. We're the boss now.
  13. Bills got a no call earlier. At least it's evening out so far.
  14. I mean, Mac Jones now has to score 2 TD's to win with under 12 minutes to go. C'mon D.
  15. That was one great half of football from our Buffalo Bills. Come out w/ a scoring drive & dig that hole extra deep for the Pats.
  16. So, this time tomorrow, I'll either be devoid of hope, or as euphoric as a human being can get. Gotta love sports!
  17. Aside from the idea that it would be cool to beat our biggest nemesis - it would also be nice to shift the conversation from WC scenarios to just talking about making sure we beat teams we should beat, at home.
  18. I know I've seen worse clock management. But it's been awhile.
  19. No one ever mentions the Chargers in all of the playoff scenario talk. Does anyone know if they have a tiebreaker over us if both teams end up w/ 7 losses?
  20. Honestly, the Colts were on the top of the list of teams we'd be competing with if we drop another game. I feel like our focus is more on the AFCN teams, and the Chargers.
  21. I just said the same thing watching this game. They're so balanced on both sides of the ball, and play really sound football.
  22. Bills gotta win tomorrow. I'm already tired of rooting for other teams & having them not come through.
