I honestly think it’s because athletes are getting stronger and faster. I know in the old school football, people assume the game was tougher. Tougher in the sense of rougher, yes. But the impact, its 100% today’s game. You didn’t have 300+ guards who run 5.2 - 40 yard dashes pulling, you didn’t have 210 lbs safeties who run 4.4 - 40 yard dashes etc… These guys might not get closed line anymore but the play by play pounding, its much tougher today. Its bigger bodies moving faster and hitting each other. Even with advanced medicine and training, they are still breaking down.

I don't mind Mahomes. A little bit of a baby but overall, seems like a quality guy. Same with Kelce. I don't like Rice or his mom. I don't like that Britt Reid, I believe got a pardon. That's not the Chiefs fault but it is on their image because he was on the staff.....and with multiple legal problems.

Then while Tyreek was there, multiple legal issues including domestic violence and child abuse. Kareem Hunt beats up a woman. Frank Clark arrested on an assault case. Justin Cox arrested for burglary. Isiah Buggs arrested for domestic violence and pet neglect. Not to mention, they get the calls. There was a stat I heard that in the playoffs, the Chiefs somehow get called penalties something like 3x less than their opponents. It was something like 36 penalties for the Chiefs with 12 against.

I'm not confident right now this is a Super Bowl team but I also know that anything can happen before February. This team is capable of clicking and getting hot. They do every season. We just have to hope that steam doesn't run out in January.
