    I think they just saw the athletic potential in Elam and thought they could develop him. Beane says all the time he wants football players. But it does seem to me they value RAS over tape a lot. If you truly want football players, maybe lower the standard on some measurements...

    I'm with you on Carter. I'm not writing him off but after his injury, he was getting pushed around like he was a lightweight. That's why he was a healthy scratch the remaining of the year.

    This guy reminds me if Bryce Paup. Maybe Hoecht gets 17 sacks and wins NFL Defensive Player of the Year. His odds are extremely low, put $100 down and if he wins…you could pay off your PSL in one payment. Its worth the risk.
