I'll throw in some more. 1. No 10 penalties for 100 yards 2. Two turnovers that put the ball inside the 20 and then another turnover on a fumbled kickoff on special teams.

Stefon Diggs did have 10 catches for 106 yards. The Titans kept us from going deep so we were successful going underneath. But then shot ourselves in the foot several times so we didn't finish drives.

So your definition of a genius is a solid defense? That was also 7-8 years ago with a DL with a motivated Dareus, Mario Williams, prime Jerry Hughes and Kyle Williams playing at a high level. If you can't have success with that, you're not a very good DC. He has a strong DL now and still struggling....

This doesn't make sense. What does "Beane people" have anything to do with what other FO do? An interior penetrator and constant disruptor is the most coveted position on defense. If on film he was doing that, he would have had multiple teams banging down his door to sign him. I would say his contract is proof of what was seen on film. Look at the extension Buckner signed. He's getting paid more than twice the amount than Phillips....it's because he is a constant disruptor and gets to the QB.

Answer the question. Why would a 28 year old interior pass rusher who is a constant disruptor sign a 3 year $30 million dollar contract? Why is he not a top 5 paid defensive tackle and not extremely coveted by 90% of every team this past offseason? Proof is not in the pudding because you didn't offer any proof.

He didn't have double digit sacks and wasn't a constant disruption in the backfield. If he was a constant disruption in the backfield, he wouldn't be around the 18th or so highest paid DT per year. A guy under the age of 30 who can get to the QB on the interior all time time is getting the Brinks Trunk.

You praise Jordan Phillips for having 2 sacks but yet Mario Addison has two sacks and is a scrub?

I don’t know what the final stat was but at one point we were 11 of 15 on 3rd down. That’s pretty damn good. We hurt ourselves. I think 3 of TN TD’s were inside the 30. We gifted them those TD’s in the form of turnovers. Plus we had 10-11 penalties? That 3rd and 2 is now 3rd and 7 or 12....still converted the majority. If NE plays the defense TN did, as long as we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot, we will be fine on offense. Defense is another story....
