I feel terrible for the kid. Its every kids dream to play pro sports and his was ripped away over something false. He should be able to land in camp somewhere. I didn't know this until it was pointed out earlier in this thread. A second surgery heals faster because they don't have to drill into this bone again and can use the existing holes. Meaning you don't have to wait for the bone to heal too. Plus it wasn't a complete reconstruction as well. I don't think he's ready now of course but I just don't see how in 4 months, that lateral movement hasn't strengthened up by then. If it's anything like my friend who just went through this surgery, at 58 years old...he was back on the mats after 5 months.

They finished the season winning 6 out of the last 8. 3 of those wins were against playoff teams and they beat all of them by more than 1 score. They beat the Jaguars by 26 points, the Giants by 13 and the Vikings by 11. Not to mention, the Packers would have made the playoffs but the Lions beat them in the season finale. They became a good team in the 2nd half of the season. You're downplaying the Lions because to try to prove your point about the Bills.
