If he would sign him for a decent vet back up contract. I dont think McD would put up with any locker room dividing actions so as long as he kept his head down and worked hard, I think he would be a good back up. That being said, I dont see him signing for back up money. I think he will wait for someplace with a chance to compete for the starting job.

I agree with this. I think the Pats view the Bills as just a division rival. They have beaten up on the Bills so much that most games it is a W for the Pats. Sometimes the Bills make a game of it but then Brady plays like Brady. The Pats get more looks at the Bills players so it is only natural that they know which players would be good for them when they become available. I am sure Bill already has an idea of how he can make several players from within the division better as soon as he gets his hands on them.

Since nobody here knows what kind of defense the Bills will be running or what kind of coverages, it is hard to say who will fit and who wouldnt. I think Claiborne has shown signs of being a really good player and I would like to see the Bills take a chance on him.

I would be good with Davis or Williams at #10. The Bills cannot rely on Sammy being healthy all season and there is nobody behind him.

Over simplify much? Just because I can drive a race car around the track doesnt mean I can succeed in NASCAR. We see end results with the Bills and we only look through a small window into the organization. The majority of GM's climbed through the ranks of scouting to get where they are. Fans only know what they see on TV or read on the internet. How can you say you can do a job when you dont even know what goes into that job?

If one of the top two safeties drop to 10 then snap one. Otherwise I would be good with Davis.

Noboby says much about Whaley picking Groy from the Bucs practice squad who turned out to be good depth at serviceable starter. People just complain Whaley isnt doing a good enough job because he drawing interest from another team. Lets wait to see the end result.

I would like to see Brown back with the Bills. Let the best LB's start and have good rotational players/depth

I think Whaley has added talent to the roster. The biggest question mark was moving up for Watkins and without him being healthy it is looking like a bad move eventhough I was good with it at the time. I think Rex ruined the defense which killed some wins.

I wonder if the Bills will have any interest in Webb, Shead, or Amukamara?

It was also thought that the Pats traded Chandler Jones because they were not going to be able to resign Jones, Hightower, and Butler. Well Jones is gone, Hightower is unsigned, and Butler is unsigned. Maybe they did that knowing they wanted to go after a top CB?

Is it Kujo's injury that is keeping him from being a good RT or is he just better at LT? I would think if an injury is keeping a player from playing his position or if after an injury he is limited in his movement in a certain direction then why is he still on the team? If a RB couldnt cut to the right as good as he cuts to the left, I would think he would be replaced with someone who can do both.

I have always liked EJ but he is not a starting QB. Hope he can find a back up role somewhere.

I think Hyde is a good replacement at Safety. Losing Gilmore will hurt but lets see who else the Bills bring in. Gilmore is a good corner but not worth the money he is getting from the Pats. Lets see how the Bills secondary plays with the new scheme before passing judgement.

This is a great signing. I have always liked him with the Packers.....made a lot of plays.

If an NFL team tried to tank, the GM and coach would never find jobs again. Players are playing for their next contract so they are not going to tank.

If he can come back and play healthy then I welcome him back. I think the Bills need a plan B but I think he is a good player when healthy

I am glad he restructured. I think Taylor is the Bills best chance right now. He is a capable QB and maybe we will see more from him with a different scheme and Oline help. I am not expecting miracles and wouldnt be surprised if the Bills draft a QB but any QB drafted will not be ready to play yet.

I will reserve judgement until I see what other signings they make and how the draft goes. If the Bills draft a QB at #10 them Howards argument is premature. I would like to see them go WR or Safety.
