  1. So his salary was 25 million and they cut it to 1 million? He also has a 5.75 million signing bonus hit and 5.4 million restructure bonus accoridn to spotrac. It looks to me like if he retires after June 1, ht still had a 11.5 million dead cap hit. Unless he is "giving that bonus money" back?
  2. I dont get how this saves 24 million on their cap.
  3. That time was in the past and you are probably right. But you can’t always blame the parents. I imagine Reid is not sure how to handle Britt after he lost a son to overdose. But you could argue giving him a prestigious job is enabling. I feel for Andy I guess as a parent but don’t know him or his culpability.
  4. With all the prior history I have no sympathy for Britt Reid. He is just selfish and does not care about anyone but himself. He should do time if found over the limit. I don’t know but I bet if you take aderoll you probably should not drink?
  5. On paper it looks like one of the best in Bills history. Not the best though, way too early to say that. If Teller had stayed here it would look better to me.
  6. Got ya, I dont know the market well for punters. I would think RoFR with the fact everyone has to deal with reduced cap. Most teams have their own cap issues to work around. There is always a risk. If the 2nd round tender is cheap for a punter I guess I would do that. But the cap will mean some tough decisions if its 175.
  7. His current output is not that great. I mean he is a cool dude and would be great in the community and in the locker room but he is not the JJ Watt of 5 years ago in terms of on field production, he no longer exists. Severe back injuries are bad for a defensive lineman.
  8. That guy is really good. But it has to be a post June trade for it to work for the Falcons so it would have to be next years first I think. That guy is awesome and probably worth it.
  9. Matt Milano should do what is best for him. The Buffalo Bills should do what is best for them. Those won't necessarily line up.
  10. That is cool but at the same time it is clear the Patriots will attempt to find a QB. And it seems QB's are more likely than ever to move teams. That along with their cap space will probably mean they will find at least a decent QB sometime in the near future.
  11. There is no package. He is not under consideration trade. The situation in Houston is a big outlier. Someone may pay a what looks like a big price to get an extremely rare asset.
  12. The Mistake on the lake, the factory of sadness? What did you expect?
  13. Maybe he has....but don't take his word for it....what GM's say in front of camera's does not always line up with what they do down the road. Being a GM in the NFL means you will get it wrong a fair amount of time, those who get it right more often go deep in the playoffs. I live in NE and they all complain about how bad a GM and drafter Belichick is....yet he has won 6 SB's and went to 9. Here they say they mismanage the WR position
  14. I would put all my efforts into figuring out how to get Watson back in their camp. Also I think Watson has a no trade thing in his deal, he could veto....
  15. The money for FA's will be less....for everyone! All 32 teams and all the players are in the same boat/playing by the same rules. The owners wont give the players a bigger percentage of revenues out of the goodness of their hearts. All people involved are healthily compensated, there will be some reductions. Like many not in football have had to deal with after the real estate crash in 2008 and during this Pandemic. Teams will get creative with structuring contracts....the Bills will still be really good next year.
  16. 1. The owners take the hit....nope 2. The players are gonna take some percentage? They have a contract, lawsuits galore....cant just make up new rules on existing deals. All teams are in the same boat here, its not that bad. Unless you are the Saints.
  17. Jacksonville was not hard for me to take.
  18. They will give him a new contract.
  19. He is 15th in average per year. Underpaid, yes and I agree something will probably be done. Add 4 million and he jumps to 6 ahead of Tyreek Hill and Mike Evans. The Deandre Hopkins deal is ridiculous IMO. He does not have the leverage of being an impending FA. Beasley is 31 and John Brown is 26 in average pay so the Bills have a lot of resources at WR. As a lot of others have said, Brown may be let go or possibly extended to reduce his money in 2021 vs the cap. This will be an interesting off season for the Bills when it comes to contracts......they are no longer flush with cap space.
  20. The Dolphins have some good draft capital from the trade of their LT, I thought that was common knowledge.....The Patriots dominated the division for 2 decades drafting in the 30's continuously. What you do with those picks is what matters. But even more important is the QB, I am not sure they "have their QB".
  21. I think it says 50-60M for qb and wr1 not just for Josh.
  22. Wallace is an RFA. I find it hard to believe he won’t be back. That does not mean Jackson can’t step up.
  23. The td at the end of the half is hard to accept. There would be fire Petrine threads all over if that happened to the Bills. But I find it interesting the coach is so critical there when it was the offense that failed on a bunch of 4th quarter drives after the defense picked Brady off three times. Rodgers threw a bad pick that gave Brady that opportunity. And lefleur himself chose a fg when there was no guarantee to get the ball back.
  24. What are the issues with the refs from the game? They "let them play" too much?
