The ruling in the Bills Eagles game was a fumble.
The difference is the chargers receiver tucked the ball and moved forward before fumbling. Brown was just completing the tuck when it came out. They are different in my eyes
I must have listened to a a different broadcast. A third step is one of the things that would make it a catch that did not happen. He was not saying he has to see a third step or else its not a catch
I agree you have Diggs and Kincaid and need to add to that. A wr is possible in the first. Lots of other holes you have to consider too. Poyer is another cut possibility.
Not sure I agree that we would be better off but I wonder (total speculation on my part here) if Dabol made a play for that job when he was getting hired by the Giants. They had friction but that cold handshake showed there is some serious issues between those two.
Nice hot take, the exclamation points are a dead giveaway of a fan-biased hot take. It was an incomplete pass all day.
Only if that was the rule it would be true.
I think there is a touch of over analysis going on. Sometimes the opponent has the right call against your call. You cannot cover every single thing the opponent does on every play. At least I dont think you can. Overall, not happy with the defensive performance but they were doing some things...in the 4th quarter they totally left the middle of the field open presnap to let Hurts try to take off, he did and the Bills closed it immediately after the snap. It is chess and sometimes things work against you.
They have won 13, 11, 13 the last three years and actually won at least one playoff game in each of those years. I know this season is not going to plan but this statement goes against what McDermott has actually done.
We know....this team is beyond moral victories, they are/were expected to be the best team in the NFL. What's the point....the expectations are to win even vs the Eagles. The expectations are to execute and not have miscommunications...the expectations are to catch the ball.
It was a good kick but I am not sure how high it really is in the history of the league...I mean it was meaningful for the Bills playoff chances but just another regular season win to maintain the 1 seed for the Eagles, it was not that big of a spot really. Yes it was a national window in an exciting game but this thread is blowing it out of proportion.
It seems "miscommunications" happen at a rate higher than they should. Josh needs to sometimes not be their friends but get pissed and hold the receivers accountable...assuming the miscommunication was on the receiver.
Davis “works his ass off no one works harder”. Yet when the game is on the line and it is clear he is manned up presnap and they are blitzing he does not recognize it. The drops are one thing but you have to be on the same page there. And a guy who has been with Allen for 4 years….it just sucks.
