Josh Allen is training with Bills receivers in Florida
billspro replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they catch it they will have to self isolate for 2 weeks. It would be embarrassing if the Bills didn’t pay them still. Odds are a lot of the NFL players have probably already had it. They travel a lot. -
Football in a pandemic era. It’s been done before..
billspro replied to Chandler#81's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Those number are what is reported but they are not accurate. If you understood virus epidemiology than you would realize that. You would have to test every single person for accurate data and even then there would be some errors due to false positives and false negatives. You also have to factor in multifactorial deaths which gets complicated. What the data shows is a high estimate. The death rate is likely somewhere between 0.5-6.5 %. Hopefully, the numbers they have are incorrect for all our sakes. -

Yes but the numbers are greatly skewed because those are confirmed cases. They would be lucky to have tested half of the people who actually had the disease. Still very high numbers and scary. -

It’s just common sense. There will be more asymptotic people than expected when testing increases. The highest report I have seen was 4% but that was a long time ago. I don’t really follow the CDC but in Canada it has been getting lower. -

I’m not arguing one way or the other but those COVID stats are not even close to correct. This will likely be where the data will end up. -
NFL is making plans to experiment with a sky judge in 2020
billspro replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
about time they are doing this. A sky judge should have been added 5 years ago. -
Josh Allen Tops NFL.com's dark horse MVP List
billspro replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man I hope so, I think he is going to make a big leap this year. -
Anybody want to go on record about Josh?
billspro replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ll go on record that he will be a top 5 NFL QB for at least 5 years. that’s conservative, he will be better than that imo. If he figured out the deep ball this offseason, which I think he has, he is going to be a top 5 QB next year. -
Duke Williams Fred Jackson Comparison
billspro replied to akcash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Freddie outplayed McGahee, Lynch, and Spiller while he was here. It sucks he didn’t get more touches. He was the only consistent producer on offence for years. -
Me too, I hope they stick with this format in the future. I’m hoping to go to the Raiders game. I’m glad it’s later in the year.

Drafting Fromm and Bass shows foresight
billspro replied to racketmaster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jake Fromm ceiling is David Carr. I wouldn’t rule him out reaching that level. -
Drafting Fromm and Bass shows foresight
billspro replied to racketmaster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This post is going to be proven wrong. Fromm is going to be a great backup. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if he had a Ryan Fitzpatrick type of career. Barkley is lucky we don’t have a full offseason or Fromm would have beat him out. -
My (with help from fellow posters) projected 53 as of now
billspro replied to akcash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Murphy won’t be cut. I think Murphy and Long are the most likely to be traded. I would do this as well. I think they should roll with Allen and Fromm. Then have Webb on the practice squad. It’s tough for me to justify a spot for Roberts and McKenzie. Hopefully one of those guys can win both roles and the other one can be released. We have too much talent to have both of those players. -
Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy on Jake Fromm
billspro replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s never a bad idea to take a swing at a QB in the 5th. Especially a prospect with Fromm’s resume. Maybe we strike gold. Having two good QBs is never a bad thing. -
I do see some similarities to Watt. Especially rushing from the inside. He is a poor mans Watt though. I think he will be good but not NFL MVP good.

Love that they doubled down on WR in this draft
billspro replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love which rounds we picked them in too. Davis is probably a third round pick in most drafts and Hodgins was probably a 4th/5th in most drafts. They both have a chance of being solid contributors down the road. They both get to learn from John Brown which will be huge for their development. -
RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
billspro replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The comparison I was using for him was Aaron Smith of the Steelers. He is a guy that probably won’t be super flashy but will play for a long time. -
Who Do You Want the Bills to Pick in Round 4?
billspro replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Davis-Gaither, Hall, Dye, or one of the oline. Weaver and Anae might be too good to pass up as well. Hill would be solid, he fits our type of WR. -
RD 3, Pick 86: RB Zach Moss, University of Utah
billspro replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we did get pretty lucky. He shouldn’t have fallen that far. -
RD 3, Pick 86: RB Zach Moss, University of Utah
billspro replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is a 0% chance Moss would have dropped to the 4th. I was actually surprised he didn’t get taken in the 2nd with the run on RBs. We are lucky a couple of surprises went before him. Beane was probably so nervous, the RBs have been completely picked over now. -
RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
billspro replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Epenesa and Oliver are going to be a great interior pass rush on third down. Hopefully, he can become a Michael Bennett type player for us. He isn’t the traditional edge rusher that wins with speed and bend. He’s going to win with technique and power. Epenesa is much more dominant rushing from the interior. Hopefully, Johnson develops into Traditional edge rusher this year. -
