    He was great with Maddog yesterday. Super honest and intelligent. The price for Sirius is worth it for Super Bowl week and the NHL Playoffs. Way better than GR but you already know that.

    1 for 8 on 3rd downs with the only conversion coming on the last drive. Giants were 9 of 16. Defense lost that game. The ultimate heartbreaker of them all.

    I'm just numb at this point. Tried to have a conversation with the wife over coffee this morning but she wasn't having it. She said she can't handle the heartbreak anymore.     If we've learned anything, it's that the league is so fluid week to week. Schedule is just that. A schedule. Nobody knows how it will work out.

    Watching the incredible world wide coverage of countries ringing in the new century across the globe on PBS. It may have been the single greatest TV program I've ever seen.

    This SF/Philly game is some hard hitting football. Lots of talking after the play and beyond.

    It never ends. My only wish is the faithful amongst us get rewarded at some point.

    It is incredible. Trading up to pick Lance and then trading him for nothing because the last pick in the draft becomes your franchise QB. Sometimes it's wonderful to be lucky.

    Agreed. Shanahan is an exceptional play caller and Purdy is the perfect student. The pre-snap influence motion and route combinations, especially the high/low concepts are exceptionally executed.

BTW- he did play by play for my little cousins championship game last Friday. It may have been the worst I've ever heard.
