  1. And then there was this unusual pairing lol. https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/jimi-hendrix-drops-out-as-opening-act-for-the-monkees
  2. Vaping is a good way to wean off. But honestly, cold turkey is the harshest/best way to go. Nicotine leaves the blood stream in about 60 hours. 2 1/2 days of suffering and then it's all mental. I quit during the winter time and used to wonder why it was so cold in my car. It's because I had my window rolled halfway down because I'd always light up when I drove. Bite the bullet and suffer. Then, make the adjustments to prevent backsliding. Tossing lighters and ashtrays etc. It's a painful approach but it works.
  3. I would simply make friends with some Bills fans at the hotel and see if you can get a lift. Offer a few $ for gas. We help each other out.
  4. Our own local forecasters can't be sure 36 hours out. Not their fault, the lake is such a wildcard. We'll see.
  5. I watched a lot of this game on RedZone. Since it was the only 4:05, they showed plenty. Plus Herbert is my FF QB. It was ugly. In fairness, he had virtually no time to throw. With a 4 man rush Denver destroyed their O line. I have to look up the sacks and pressures. No excuses though. He could have thrown 5 picks today.
  6. I remember the crowd chanting for Jim as Collins struggled early lol.
  7. I think the kid is solid and getting better. I'm actually thinking about starting him over Herbert this week. Obviously a matchup decision.
  8. Cosell is fantastic. Right on the money as usual. Running game is the key
  9. Yeah, I get what Chase is saying. He flew to France the weekend of the finale so he knew the reaction of the ending would be turbulent. I love how it ended. Use your imagination how it all unfolded and the aftermath.
  10. I don't think it matters what happened. Let's get honest, there were only 3 outcomes. He gets his head blown apart, Carlo testifying and he goes to jail for forever and a day, or he skates away and goes on. I for one loved the ending. The creators always treated us like adults. Make up your own mind.
  11. They get pushed around at the point of attack. Eventually it's going to come back and bite them.
  12. I'll try and help. I do this to pull in the 49'ers broadcast on game days because their my second favorite team and Greg Papa is one of the greatest PxP guys of all time. Find the list of Bills radio affiliates. Check each website of those and see if one is slipping and not blocking the feed. It takes work but you maybe able to strike gold. The site onlineradiobox is another resource for those affiliates to possibly get around the streaming block. Good luck!
  13. Sell? No. Not that I've seen but your neighbors will almost certainly share. Mostly everyone brings too much food anyway lol. At the Denver game, the guy next to me gave me a cured meat sandwich that was out of this world. No need to worry. Bring the good energy and you'll be hooked up.
  14. I met Edmunds at the Tops on McKinley on the Sunday off before the season started. Store was dead and I walked down an aisle looking for salad dressing. I really didn't notice him became I just thought he was another customer looking at the same thing. He had a red Bills T on and I thought "I think he plays for the team." To be fair, I worked 6 days straight and just came from the gym. I really wasn't thinking clearly. I just wanted to go home, shower, eat, and sleep. I asked him "You play?" He said "Yes sir." "What position?" "Linebacker" I must of had a look on my face like I couldn't place him, which I couldn't, and he said "Edmunds " Then in my exhausted state, I utter the brainless "That's right, I didn't recognize you without your helmet on." He just looked at me. Waiting for further conversation. I just said "Don't worry I'm not going to bother you for a pic or anything. Good luck this season. Go get'em." He smiled and said "Thank you Sir" and ambled down the aisle. Class guy. Super polite and very, very big.
  15. You want to discuss bad broadcasting, listen to GR today. S &B have no clue. What a shock.
  16. No. I really never liked any of them. Some have reached out on FB but I never respond because there's really nothing to say.
  17. Nick reminds me of Jeremy White. That's not a compliment.
  18. True. His voice wasn't smooth but the timing and rhythm were measured to a degree that it sounded good. Him and Murphy had terrific chemistry.
  19. That was a fantastic show. I actually knew Larry personally. Total class. He always asked my opinion on the team, even though he forgot more football than I've ever seen. Great guy. RIP Larry.
  20. I would throw in The Last Run in Glenwood. Total neighborhood spot. Great wings and a variety of sauces. Staff is a blast. Terrific spot.
