You should call WGR. I think they used to have a specific segment for callers like you. -

The Bills are not a run first team. -

What difference does age make with the Bills and a lot of other NFL trams philosophy? Draft them, let them finish their rookie deal and let them go. What’s the difference if that running back is 28 or 25 when it happens? -

He’ll be the feature back after the Bills let Cook go after his rookie deal is over. -
I rarely have a hot take when talking about any draftee. Those kind of takes end up being immortalized in threads like the Josh Allen drafted one.

Happy Birthday you old fart! -
Taking anyone in round 2 has to be really good. The Bills are weak at Safety. That’s a pretty importent position in McDermott’s defense.

I’m on board with this selection.

Does Butch from the East side post here? -
The damned dumbest argument I’ve seen is the Chiefs would have got Worthy regardless. You don’t trade up with the team you think is going to select your target, you trade in front of that team. Obviously, the Chiefs felt one of Tampa Bay, Dallas or San Francisco was going to take Worthy.

Yeah, that is ugly.

Let’s not forget Worthy is an absolute weapon in the punt return game as well.
-
Rashee Rice had almost 1,000 yards as a rookie last season and really came on in the back end of the season. Don’t forget they still have him regardless of what suspension he will serve.

OK, then how do you feel about THREE wide receivers coming off the board from 28 to 32. Three wide receivers we had a chance to draft and didn’t. I guess whoever the Bills take is going to be better than those three guys because the Bills took him? In Beane’s tenure with the Bills, he drafted Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir and who else at wide receiver?
-
I agree with a lot of this. I also agree that if a team like KC wants an offensive player at a position we need help at ourselves, maybe we should have taken that player in the first place? Andy Reid must like that kid and probably for a good reason.

Look, the Bills CLEARLY don’t think they were going to land a #1 WR in this draft. I’m sure they tried but they didn’t do it. When you have a gaping hole at your #1 WR position you don’t screw around and trade down if you believe someone is there that can fill that role. The only way the Bills are going to fill that spot is through a trade. The Bills have a big problem right now and one that only a trade can fix. They may draft a WR and say it was their target all along. I don’t believe that for a second. Not when they are in the position they are currently in. I hope their answer to filling their biggest hole isn’t someone they have passed over twice now to trade down.

Are you going to add anything worthwhile or just whine? I get it that you don’t like what happened in the first round. A lot of us have questions about it but Beane isn’t a GM that just sits there with his thumb up his ass. The man is going to strike at some point.

Something big is going to happen tomorrow. Tonight was so unlike Beane.
