  1. Just checked. That was 2017. Oops. I still wouldn't fault him entirely. Jacksonville is a mess. The Jags went from from 10-6 and the AFC Championship to 5-11 and 6-10 in subsequent years. A once stellar defense has since fallen on its face and the stars of that defense are either gone, on their way out or have voiced that they want out.
  2. The entire defense underperformed this year. Maybe you haven't paid much attention to the dumpster fire that Jacksonville has become recently. Bouye grades out as a top 15 DB by PFF.
  3. Wishing we had the inside track on that trade.
  4. ? Something tells me Ladanian Tomlinson, Thurman Thomas and Marshall Faulk would have something to say about the first bit. The 2nd bit is debatable. There are about 5 guys with a legitimate claim to "best back".
  5. Yeah, it's pretty stupid. Mob mentality is taking over.
  6. Jerry Rice reportedly ran a 4.71. Larry Fitzgerald a 4.63. The combine isn't nearly the same as the field of play.
  7. Every year there are players that skip the combine in favor of their pro day. This isn't a big deal at all. There's plenty of collegiate tape on him. Don't over-think this like many of you did with Metcalf last year.
  8. I love that people are raising their standards for this team. At minimum, this team had better beat New England in one of the matchups.
  9. His bad was really bad, imo. I wasn't overly impressed and also feel like the o-line's pass protection wasn't the greatest, but that could be because Allen holds onto the ball longer than he should.
  10. Jonnu Smith and Delanie Walker are a good tandem of tight ends as well. Play action would be there all day for him, having Henry in the backfield and I think he'd have a new best buddy with Humphries in the slot. It makes a ton of sense.
  11. I'm referencing the 3-cone time. Talking about Cody Ford? Yeah that hasn't panned out well so far, but we're about 2-3 years away from knowing for sure.
  12. It was a while ago, but it wouldn't be a stretch for them to draft someone like Higgins who has talent and size. Maybe catch radius wasn't the right phrase. A bigger target is more what I meant.
  13. The Kelvin Benjamin trade and seeing how comfortable Allen was with Duke. I mean, I see how a guy with a larger catch radius helps Josh, I have to believe they see it too. That's the part of football where the "experts" overthink things and rely too much on analytics instead of trusting their own eyes. Lesson learned, hopefully.
  14. Just a friendly reminder that the Bills were WR needy last season and passed on a guy that is 6'4" 230lbs, ran a 4.33 and had a 40.5" vertical, yet he traded for Kelvin Benjamin. Needless to say, I DO NOT trust Brandon Beane when it comes to selecting the right receiver for this team, but I do believe he's looking for a bigger framed guy, unless Jeudy or Ruggs somehow falls to us.
  15. If Gabriel doesn't reunite with Kyle Shanahan in SF I'll be shocked. Man Trubisky sucks...
  16. Gailey had Spiller humming in 2012! I remember that fateful carry where he broke his collar bone on a 40 yard scamper. He was never the same after that, for whatever reason.
  17. You must be a fan of "star player" early retirements. These are living, breathing human beings. They're not machines. They can barely stay healthy for a 16 game schedule as is.
  18. And the first time a 7-9 or 6-10 team wins the Super Bowl, the same fans who approve of this nonsense will be the first to complain. Pure greed on the part of the league, further watering down the product. This is just the beginning.
  19. I haven't heard a peep about Beckham being the problem in Cleveland. If anything, I've heard that Cleveland isn't utilizing him.
  20. And better than any offensive weapon currently on this roster.
  21. Like Drew was really going to allow Brady to eclipse any of his records.
  22. As opposed to the offensive line's poor run blocking?
  23. I would say, the millions he would be making on the open market is a lot better than the 700k, before taxes/agent fees, etc., he'll make on the tender. The team options placed in rookie deals are nothing more than "cheap" labor.
