Beane is on the right track. A bunch of fans on here wanted to wait and draft a 2nd or 3rd round WR. My concern was that Josh didn't have 3 years to wait for a guy to potentially develop and adjust to the pro game. Beane seemed to realize the same, hence the trade for Diggs. I'm encouraged. The rumored interest in Jordan Howard makes even more sense now.

Howard was #2 on my wants list behind Conklin because he fits. Singletary is going to be the bell cow. Howard will be our thumper/short yardage/cleanup guy and a veteran presence. I wouldn't feel comfortable going into the season with Josh having to rely on a 2nd year guy who's not great in pass protection and a rookie RB just learning the ropes. Mark my words, Buffalo will love him!

A veteran RB who is physical, can receive out of the backfield and is great in pass protection. This "vaunted" Bills defense wanted nothing to do with him this past season, when it mattered in the 2nd half. You must have turned the game off after that run then. There are more important things than speed when it comes to running backs. Howard is plenty fast enough. He can also block and is a good receiver as well. Both are far more important traits.

Did you see him take our defense's heart just last season? He is EXACTLY what this team needs and what McDermott was hoping to get with Gore.
