  1. "Finally we have a franchise QB..." That has yet to be determined. Raise your standards!
  2. At least not for another year due to the franchise tag, unless things get really ugly in Houston.
  3. While too many are worried purely about stats, Sammy was an integral part of a Super Bowl winning team and will have made, at minimum, $41 million over the past 3 seasons - all before age 30. THAT, my friends, is a great career!
  4. I actually don't mind Kraft. Seems like a decent enough guy and obviously a great owner.
  5. One of Tyrod's biggest issues is clueless HCs and OCs that attempt to run conventional offenses with him behind center. He isn't that type of QB. Anthony Lynn knows this and will adjust accordingly.
  6. So apparently he gave up 12 sacks last year. If ever there were a reason to "complain"...
  7. Profootballtalk called him a massive liability on the right side for Carolina last season. Why would he magically be any good here?
  8. Not to get ahead of myself but, on paper, this team isn't missing much.
  9. Funny you should ask... And he'd probably do it for N'Keal Harry and a bottle of hand sanitizer.
  10. I know, I had to correct my post. Drops in relation to targets it's not even close. https://scores.nbcsports.com/fb/leaders.asp?type=Receiving&range=NFL&rank=232
  11. LA is his best bet. The table is set for him there.
  12. As far as drops goes, there was a stat I saw recently (I'll see if I can find it), but nearly all the top tight ends had pretty atrocious drop rates *(Cook, Ebron, Mark Andrews, Kelce). It's surprising. Keep throwing to him! He's a budding star, IMO.
  13. I like Robbie a lot and think that he has tons of talent. I really wish he could have signed in a better situation with a better QB.
  14. Ravens defense looks like it'll return to glory this season. Good lord, do they have some pieces...
  15. But let's stretch the season to 18 games...
  16. He needs more weapons because he isn't at the point in his career where he can make stars of average talent. He needs better blocking because he doesn't go through his reads fast enough and holds on to the ball for too long. He's developing, but he isn't there yet. Surrounding him with more talent puts him in the best position to succeed.
  17. I never understand why fans get upset when facts are pointed out about Josh Allen? He needs to get better. Pretty obvious. I don't dislike Josh. My problem is with blind loyalists who don't demand more of our starting QB. I've been banging the drum to get him more weapons on offense for 2 seasons now. I desperately wanted this team to draft Mercalf last year to pair with Josh. I was all aboard "trading for Julio or Diggs" before they ever became realistic options. I'm one of the very few on this board that wants Beane to sign a seasoned veteran RB, primarily for pass protection, to buy Josh more time in the pocket. I'm rooting for the kid, but I also understand that he needs to improve. I'm far from satisfied with his play. He's on the right track but my standards are high. Everyone's should be.
  18. Like 25th out of 32 is something to be proud of? You got me!
  19. Crickets huh? Qb rating - 27th QBR - 25th Completion % - 32nd I'm too lazy to look where he ranks for holding onto the ball or deep ball accuracy, but you get the point. You're probably one of those guys who ranks Josh above Lamar Jackson.
  20. I was going off of the the original comment you were responding to. Let's not act like Josh isn't in the lower tier of starting QBs.
  21. If Josh remains in the bottom 5 of numerous statistical categories, chances are we won't get much further than simply making the playoffs. The goal is a Super Bowl victory. So while your original take is a sane one, I couldn't care less about "12 wins". He needs to be able to play well enough to win a Super Bowl.
  22. Regardless, he'll get a 4th season to prove himself, but if this season happens, he needs to make quicker reads, get the ball out on time and improve his deep ball accuracy.
  23. But is that more a product of lack of opportunity? Kind of like Yeldon.
  24. Depends on how the scenario plays out. If it's clear that Allen isn't working out, I expect Beane to recognize it and act accordingly. A situation where Beane/McDermott hold on to "the dream" for too long, would make me want a new GM and/or coach. Take Ryan Pace, for example. He will soon be approaching this territory with Trubisky.
