  1. I'm not an Allen believer until he proves himself. That said, I've always drawn the comparison to a young Elway. I don't think a better compliment can be given to a 3rd year QB.
  2. Replace "hole" with "question mark" and he'd be accurate.
  3. Bingo. He has the athleticism to be good wherever, but I feel he's being wasted at MLB. If this were a Belichick coached team, Edmunds would be in the Ninkovoch/Vrabel role, wreaking havoc!
  4. This is a tough one. I remember back in the BBMB days, a large portion of that crowd wanted Hughes in 2nd round. Shady was the only consistent piece that made this team watchable for the majority of his time here. Taking longevity into consideration, I favor the Hughes trade.
  5. I love tennis! Vastly underrated sport.
  6. QB: C RB: B TE: C WR: B+ OL: C CB: B S: B+ LB: C+ DL: C+ ST: C Pretty spot on, OP. We're not awful or elite anywhere. Just a solid group that, collectively, can make some noise.
  7. I completely disagree. Cook has cards here, the Vikings cap situation notwithstanding. Minnesota is an ok team without Cook, but they're a top tier team with him. Dalvin is one of the best 3 or 4 backs in football when healthy. The time for him is now, not after another season of wear and tear.
  8. The Vikings will not be trading Cook if they have any desire to be good this season.
  9. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. It didn't work. It was a boneheaded play.
  10. I'd sit him, based on the injury alone. Not that he needs to, but I think it would help greatly to learn behind a grizzled vet like Fitz. The Mahomes/Alex Smith scenario. If Tua's going to be the franchise, then the Phins should be in no rush.
  11. Better late than never, I guess.
  12. Even though you're well meaning, that phrase was used in the past as, "You're so well spoken for a black man (or woman)." Like, the shock and awe that a person of color isn't using ebonics and choosing to enunciate. It's real. Blame racists for ruining, what could have been, a simple compliment.
  13. Fitz has a lot of weapons on offense and he's back with Gailey. Miami is going to be a tough out, I think.
  14. I know what you're saying but that fact that his friend felt the need to post this publicly leads me to believe this isn't the first time he's made "off-color jokes".
  15. That offense strolled through the playoffs and to the Super Bowl with Kittle on blocking duties, mostly.
  16. Yes, but his production hasn't dropped off even with the plethora of talent in KC currently. Nothing else going on in the sports world. I enjoy these debates.
  17. Kelce blocks as well as any tight end in football and was putting up numbers before Mahomes was even drafted and before Tyreek Hill became a factor.
  18. Kittle may be slightly more aggressive after the catch. He does nothing else better than Travis Kelce.
  19. Gotcha. Yes. A 24 year old Mahomes is better than a 42 year old Brady, a 41 year old Brees and a 36 year old Rodgers.
  20. I blame the GMs for not utilizing their talent better. If they aren't good enough to carry the team to victory, then get them more help to assist.
  21. I'm confused. Not sure what you mean in the first graph. I think Kelce is better than Kittle. He's an excellent blocker and a more dynamic receiver, in my opinion.
  22. Dak is the better QB, but this trade would never happen. Perhaps. The same could have been said about Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford.
  23. I had forgotten about Hooper's contract. Kittle is a beast in his own right, but Kelce has 4 years of elite production vs Kittle's 2. Travis is more proven.
  24. I somehow forgot about their new contracts. Weird.
  25. First off, Travis Kelce is the best tight end in football and he makes about $8 mill per season. With the new CBA, I can see Kittle resetting the market around $10-$12 mill per season with the 49ers. He's their biggest weapon on offense.
