  1. I think Poyer can start. He won the Cleveland job but if we elect to take a Safety i could see Poyer is a backup. Just depends on how the draft falls and pans out.
  2. He will be gone in the 1st after the combine
  3. Solid #3 to #4 reciever. I think Philly has potentials to be a really good slot reciever for us
  4. Everytime I read this title i read it as inked not linked. Super confusing
  5. Mills was also a 5th round pick. He didnt have as much talent as the others like Brown and Hughes which were 1st round talents that were considered busts. Smith is a 1st round talent as well... he really isnt thought of as a bust (he has always been a dependable player) he just hasnt played to full potential.
  6. It worked with Lorenzo Alexander and Zach Brown last year. And it also worked with Jerry Hughes. Whaley has a way to find talent that others over look or determined were busts. Its probably Doug Whaleys best quality as a GM You would rather sign a DB and draft a tackle than sign a tackle and draft a DB in maybe the best DB class of alltime? Its a great year to have a need in the secondary. We dont need to sign anyone when we could draft one which will give us same skill level at a much cheaper price
  7. They are all very well spoken and seem to be high character guys. We added two former captains so leadership seems to be a quality we are adding. And every single player we added except for Poyer comes from a winning team. Panthers Seahawks Ravens Packers Falcons Also besides Tolbert they are all pretty young in the the 25 to 27 range. Young high character guys off the field, versatile on the field and comes from places where they are used to winning seems to be the type of free agents McDermott likes
  8. Hopkins? Aint afraid. Only outside recievers that actually worked in that system was Moss. Hopkins is no Moss. Brdy only throws to slot recievers and tight ends
  9. This is the nost underrated pick up in the NFL. Think he is gonna highly impact our defense with just being solid at everything. Brings captain experience as well
  10. This guy won the Browns starting FS last year before his injury. Not saying much to win a starting spot on Browns but something to keep an eye on.
  11. We dont have the capspace to make this kinda move but i like the way Whaley and McDermott are putting this pieces together. Teams get in trouble when they sign big name free agents on the bad side of 30. We have added players who are just about to enter their prime or are currently in their prime. Exception is probably our short yardage situation back in Tolbert. But that is a good way to fill holes is under the radar young guys who can contribute for years to come. We also added two captains to the team so adding leadership is a good way to start building a team. Leadership is a good quality to have and didnt have much of it under Ryan
  12. I was curious how i remembered Poyers name. Apparently its because he is dating Rachel Bush who i had on my snapchat i believe. Now i rememeber lol
  13. Even with good depth we still need to add players. Only WRs we have is Watkins and Listenbee. We need atleast 8 recievers to take to camp. Which means we have to add atleast that. We are not gonna add 6 rookies through draft. That would give us 7 recievers who never played a down in NFL. We gotta sign some vets as well
  14. I dont know about your math but Carpenter missed 11. That is more than 10 Carpenter missed 11 with 1 being blocked Hauschka missed 10 with 7 being blocked That has to be be on their line
  15. I guess you all want a comp pick so bad you want to go onto the year without a full roster or a roster full of UDFAs. We have a ton of spots to fill with only 6 draft picks. We are gonna need to sign a lot of roster filling free agents.
  16. Its only 1 million per year gunanteed. He can earn up to 2 million a year depending on bonuses. Not a bad deal at all. Cap hit this year is likely only 1 million depending on how xontract is structures
  17. Tolbert is far from a phenomonal blocker. Dimarco is the best blocking FB in the nfl. All pro FB
  18. DiMarco is a FB. Tolbert will be a goal line powerback.
  19. Actually i disagree. Stevie was so good because he got seperation from his route running ability. Tyrod will only throw if the reciever is wide open. So Stevies ability to get open would be a nice combo with Tyrod
  20. Aiken is a very underrated player. Torrey Smith is an extremely overrated player. Id take Aiken all day. Same skill level but Aiken will be paid less due to how overrated Smith is
  21. Obi Melifonwu. The numbers at his size is crazy insane. Would totally take Gronk size and speed advantage out of the equation. The only issue with him is one game i saw of him Amba Etta Tawo made him look bad
  22. Does this mean talks with Lorenzo Alexander didnt go that well or Is this just the backup plan?
  23. Seems like Aiken had been in the league much longer. Seems like he would be 30 years old atleast. Aiken is a decent player in his prime. If we can get him for cheap then I am all for it. Maybe a mild upgrade over Woods at a cheaper price.
  24. I see a mix of Tyran Mathieu and Deone Bucannon
  25. No. He is borderline top 10 pick. He has been going 7th to 9th in most mock drafts of recent.
