  1. How did Gerald Hodges look? Feel he is a very under the radar addition who will give us a good starter.
  2. He knows the system. He could help Peterman and Tyrod learn the system faster. Not to mention he is a solid vet backup.
  3. Why is everyone freaking out over a guy who is 36? Would he be a nice addition even at his age sure but its not the end of the world if he doesnt sign here. Besides everything ive seen before hos visit suggested that he is expected to decide in about a week from now. I fully expect him to think about his options after the visit. I dont think this is the type of player who will come in and sign on his visit. Also whose to say we even want him that bad? We still have Jones and Holmes and could just be looking at a potential option. Title says he left Buffalo while the report says he left OBD. Which one is it? Two completely different things. Could be a 2 day visit?
  4. Bryant Johnson Watch... Cant believe we thought he was gonna be good
  5. With Powell suspension i believe that he will be cut
  6. Leading the triple crown as a rookie
  7. Flacco is not better than Tyrod... one good playoff run made him extremely overrated
  8. Cant call that a mistake... Listenbee was only a 6th round draft pick. Majority 6th rounders will get cut at some point. Secondly Listenbee never really got a chance to prove himself with his injury
  9. Well i see it as like coaching a player to hit when they are in a slump. Its been done before. It takes awhile to get rid of the bad habits but eventually coach will help get your timing back. Its just a timing thing. I personally am a bowler and have had to change my timing before. Its difficult at first and feels conpletely odd but the more reps it becomes muscle memory. It may feel odd for Tyrod at first because the timing of his feet and arm will have to be synchronized but once that is lined up its all making it muscle memory in getting the ball out
  10. Ughhh depth... OLine seems to be the one area we have good depth at. What really makes Ducasse good depth is he can play 4 positions. Both tackle and guards positions. Versatility on the bench is huge because you can never predict an injury and having a player who could be plugged in anywhere is huge I think we end up like this LT- Glenn LG- Incognito C- Wood RG- Miller RT- Dawkins OG/C- Groy OG/OT- Ducasse OT- Koundijo Everyone else is cut
  11. If true this is a huge get. Helped build Patriots into the superpower they are, helped build the Falcons team that just made the superbowl, and helped to build a consistant winner in KC. All the teams he worked for has been able to find great players late in the draft.
  12. How on earth does she do that? Listening to her call college basketball games is evident that she doesnt know what she is talking about.
  13. So does this mean that Koncz will be Director of Player Personnel with Shoen as AGM
  14. Schoen worked for Panthers before Miami.
  15. Beane is such a good communicator. His background in media relations is really showing. Much better than Terry and Doug. Him and McDermott will be good reps for the team
  16. Probably but Beane can definetly help McDermott prepare for what to say and what questions to expect. Besides im sure Beane and Mcdermott will be on same page and will be one voice even with two people doing press conferences.
  17. A very underrated aspect of this hire is he came into the league in media relations. Believe he got his degree in communications. This was one of the major thing Whaley struggled with and we could really use someone like this in the organization.
  18. Peterman is much better that Edwards ever was at anticipation. Peterman will throw guys open instead of waiting for the guy to get open
  19. The GMs job is to scout and get players to fit the coaches schemes. Coaches dont orrient their scheme by what the GM likes..
  20. Boston is a bad starter but good depth player.
  21. If there is im sure that Pegula interviewed one of the minority scouts we had just to get that rule sastisfied before he fired them.
  22. Yeah I think that GM is out of the picture... but adding him to a lesser role would be huge
  23. This happens every year... the last big name UDFA we got was Da'Rick Rogers. And he didnt even make the team. UDFAs is such a crap shoot its usually the guys youve never heard of that makes the teams and fills a niche that all others overlooked. Besides we got the best Punter of the draft so we may have added a starter as a UDFA... cant say that often. This scouting department has always done a decent job finding UDFAs... just gotta trust em
