  1. Seems it wasn't much of a fight rather than his brother was just trying to prevent him killing himself
  2. Oh wow... This happened last night? Damn. This was kept under wraps for almost 24 hours. That's a shock.
  3. Pretty sure just Zay for destruction of property.
  4. Don't forget the good ole Corey McIntyre exposing himself
  5. That's more because he was wanting to much money for not playing... Teams like proven players when they offer a lot of money. I think Cards have a more glaring hole then we do... Right now Glennon would be their starter when Bradford goes down with another injury.
  6. I'm not a fan of Allen personally but if he is there at 12 you take him
  7. Only way I see us getting him is if we give him a deal we're he makes nothing next year and makes like 20 million in 2019. We have a ton of cap space in 2019
  8. While I agree that QB is a glaring hole, they gave McCarron zero respect. One said that McCarron is a 3rd string QB and another said we could draft any position and they'd be the best QB on the roster. McCarron even tho he hasn't played much doesn't deserve that type of hate. He played pretty good in his limited action
  9. I could understand comparing and contrasting the differences and similarities. But when you have entirely two different players and say "oh he sounds like Preston Brown" then something is wrong. Compton and Brown are no were near the same kind of player... Compton is actually for of the Zach Brown type. Both are extremely fast for being a LB the speed doesn't translate to the field Preston Brown and Minter are at least very close athletically... Minter is slightly more athletic. But as for play on the field... Minter does a much better job of fighting through blockers and avoiding blockers. He also takes much better angles than Brown ever has. And Minter actually can sniff out screens. The issue with Minter is sometimes he over runs some plays... Preston usually doesn't do that. People just hear slow and bad in coverage and just say Preston Brown but they are pretty different.
  10. That is a pretty fair deal for both sides. Just hope Giants are not greedy and ask for our 1st next year
  11. Is ever LB compared to Preston Brown on here? You guys are ridiculous. News came out that Compton was visiting and people compared him to Preston. Now Minter is visiting and again is being compared to Brown. Find some unique comparisons people!
  12. Depth players with starting experience. Love it. Usually when we sign guys like this they automatically start but now we have competition on the oline
  13. No. Rudolph compares more with Bryce Petty
  14. Cheap starter for sure. He is ranked as 26th best Center in football. Not the best but just have to be a top 32 Center to be thought of as a starting Center. What I like most about this is he is a good ole country boy... Gotta love the blue collar players we are bringing in for our trenches. Him, Murphy, and Compton all have those same qualities
  15. I personally prefer Roquan... But Edmunds will be a freak of nature. Not far behind Smith in my eyes. If we stay at 12 I'd be happy with either
  16. You do know that Beane brought in his own scouting staff correct????
  17. I'm a Cuse fan but can you guys please just beat Kentucky... Like that would make me pretty happy
  18. The Colts GM showed no patience... If they waited closer to the draft they could have received way more. I'm not worried. They're the Jets... They'll probably take Josh Allen. But we forced the Jets to give up picks anyway. At the very least we scared them into giving up draft picks for a QB that they didn't think they would have to just a week ago.
  19. Well with the amount of money we have left and the holes we still have to fill he will have to do. It's either him or have Tanner Vallejo start... I'll take Compton everday. There is a 3rd option but that requires we not trade up and draft a LB with our extra picks... At this point it doesn't look likely. I'm thinking we trade our 2 Firsts, Clevelands 3rd, and a mid round pick next year for year and trade to #3 overall. We sign Compton and a Nickle CB. Then Drafting goes like this Round 1. QB Round 2. WR Round 2. OT Round 3. OG/C Round 4. OLB Round 5. CB Round 6. TE Looking at the way free agency is going I think we will be drafting offensive heavy. Get our rookie a weapon and some protection. My point being with a trade up it's not likely that we can upgrade EVERY position. We will have to sacrifice a little and settle for a proven player like Compton if we want to move up into the top 5 and make sure our positions get filled.
  20. Yeah Bruschi is an idiot... Interesting tho. A panel of guy was asked winners and losers of free agency and Teddy chose us as a winner and said he loves the culture change in Buffalo... I was shocked.
  21. Redskins fans I talked to on another forum... They all said the same thing about him.
  22. That's the thing... He isn't just a high motor guy. He became a starter because of his football IQ. There are two positions were I find IQ to be more important than everything else. One is obviously QB... The other is MLB. He makes others around him better by putting them in position to make plays. So yes he may be slow to a location every once in awhile... But he will also change the play call and make sure that the defense as a whole will be put in a position to get the stop. Just look at what we had with Rex Ryan... He had a hugely talented team but that team had no we're near the IQ as McDermotts team. We will add athletic players in the draft but we currently have a ton of holes and not much money... So a player like Compton would be a smart addition. That doesn't mean we are desperate at the position and we don't have to break the bank.
  23. Guy is probably the smartest guy on the field at all times. He really puts in work I'm the film room. Knows how to diagnose a defense perfectly and makes great audibles. He is a true QB of the defense. Not only his his football IQ high but he is a great leader and locker room presence. Sure athletically and size he is not ideal... But I'm comfortable with Compton leading the defense. As long as we have athletic players around him. Compton always knows were to be on the field... Sure there will be times when he can't get to the location on time but I'll gladly add a player like him who gives 110% effort on every play and knows what's coming so we can audible to a correct defensive play call. He is a typical McDermott guy... Especially being a captain. Sean would trust him to call the plays for his defense
