  1. DE? No... Maybe in a 3-4. He is a UT in our system
  2. Let's not go crazy here. Heck of a player for sure but the hand isn't his only concern. He is a 5 year player so he is older than many of the others. He regressed from junior year to senior year. He is undersized for a LB.. kind of the LB and S tweener type. And with Edmunds and Smith would both be rated ahead of Griffin regardless if he had two hands or not. And I highly doubt that 3 LB would be drafted in top 10. That would be unheard of. He would have definitely been a first round pick. But without that hand I really question how smart it would be to add him. We have Gronkowski in our division (unless he retires which I doubt). Without that hand does he have the proper length to try to a Gronk. Not many people could cover Gronk as is... That becomes much more evident if he is playing someone with a smaller wing span.
  3. We seem more interested in Mike White than Lauletta
  4. I'm no Syracuse grad. I graduated from Paul Smith's College lol. And I'm rooting for the kid. I want him to succeed. I just think he will be over drafted. Happens all the time. Just look at Michael Sam... He didn't deserve to be drafted but got drafted just because he was gay and now he is in the CFL. Griffin is a 4th round prospect but will probably be drafted as a 3rd based on name and story. And I'm not willing to give that up. You have to put personal feelings aside in order to make these decisions if you want a team to succeed and correctly evaluate talent
  5. I think this kid is gonna be drafted much earlier than he should just due to the story and the amount of times his name is news.... I will have to pass. I like what I see from him but we are gonna have to reach if we would want him
  6. Oohhh 4.58... Teams are definitely gonna take an average Not saying it's bad. It's decent but a lot of overreacting to the bench press
  7. Yeah... 20 reps isn't that impressive. And I'm sure Griffin would prefer people to not set the bar lower. Especially with the prosthetic arm.... The 40 on the other hand is impressive.
  8. Why must you say that he put up 20 reps... That's not that of a good number for a LB. Its decent... It's not like he did it with one arm. Kid has heart no question but let's not pretend like he went up there and put 30 reps up... I'm sure he wouldnt want a lower bar than everybody else at the combine.
  9. Andrews is more of a Greg Olson type than a Gronk type. Goedert is more of that Gronk type.
  10. Easy there tiger. Do you know who also looked like Randy Moss??? Stephen Hill.
  11. I don't understand how he could possibly know the final list of teams when teams haven't even been able to talk to him. Just seems like fake news... Headline should say Atleast 4 Teams prepared to Offer Cousins. How does he know that Cousins would like those 4 and not any other when he can't even talk to them
  12. Signing Tolbert wasn't the issue. Mike offers a lot. A goalline power back, veteran presence in locker room, and leadership. He is a great guy to have on the team. The issue was making him a backup RB... He should be a 3rd string RB. And that is on McDermott for cutting Williams and placing Tolbert in as the #2
  13. One thing about having two first rounders and the ability to trade up is we have to do our due diligence with players in our pick range and even before it. I think we should get double the interviews since we have double the picks
  14. Says to me that we are preparing for him to be over paid
  15. Yes I know. But I was speaking about his scenerio if we happened to strike gold on a RB in the mid rounds of the draft...
  16. Why would we cut Ivory? Likelihood is it will be a 1 year deal like Vontae's? We keep him on as a 3rd string RB for one season until his 1 year contract expires then we could gain a comp pick.
  17. Yeah wouldn't we all but Dion is probably more money and would count towards comp picks. Ivory does not. Lewis is the better player but Ivory has his advantages
  18. Wright is no where near good. But he offer experience. Good CBs are hard to come by. Many teams have starters that are worse than Wright. It wouldn't be the end of the world. And over the course of their career Davis is much healthier than Gaines so hopefully who ever our backup is doesn't see the field as much as Wright did last year
  19. Really? We have a lot of free agents set to hit the market. We are gonna have to be active. We may not be going after to the top guys.... But I can see us signing a ton of roster fillers. I think Star will be our big piece added. After than I can see is adding 5-6 depth signings.
  20. Ehhh maybe... Maybe not. Think this is a flexibility signing. Let's us still try to sign him but if his price gets to high then we don't have to over pay and can let him walk.
  21. So I take it no more QB camp... Unless they come out with Rex's QB Camp
  22. Wow he made a terrible decision to go to Ravens over Bills... He is kicking himself now
