I don't think we want him to gain weight. I think he is gonna be our Big nickle rather than a usual Linebacker. We are gonna use him to cover TEs. He will be likely be rotating with Taron Johnson. If teams go WR heavy then Taron will be in field but if a team goes TE heavy we need someone bigger to be able to cover and i think thats where Bernard rotates in.

I think most draft experts mocked him to go low cause they saw him as an extremely undersized LBer... however i think NFL teams viewed him differently and saw him as a big nickle who could cover TEs in todays game... so i definitely think this kid would have went earlier than expected. Offense im goimg Logan Thomas... former QB turned TE. So he can throw the ball recieve the ball. He would be a better blocker than most. Defense Jamal Adams... just seems like he can play anywhere. In coverage, rushing the QB, in the box.

I think he is waiting till cuts to bring a vet in... and if they dont draft a CB in round 2 itcwould not surprise me if they signed Rhodes or Haden after the draft just as insurance and competition

My concern as far as football is related is that there will be to many chefs in the kitchen. Ken Dorsey is our OC, We hired Shula to be senior offensive assistant, we hired Joe Brady a former OC as QB coach... adding another coach to these game plan meeting can get confusing. Based off new NFL rules they have to be involved in these meetings... and honestly I dont think Skipper deserves this type of promotion. He hasnt done much for our running backs. Singletary is ok but so far he has failed to develope Moss.
