Yeah, nothing's a given in the NFL but should be a winnable game.
I sort of wonder if this is the first time ever (the Bills) a team won a game on someone else's home field before they even played on it
Admittedly I don't know much about Diaz's personality but it seems he may not be cut out for New York. On the other hand though I did find that "moderately" impressive he was able to compose himself and strike out the next 2 batters. Not sure what the issue is with him. I'd try to move him in the offseason though unless VW is married to him.
I know as a Mets fans (or at least I) sort of hyper focus on our own issues. Seems though the Phillies have very similar ones. Not a very strong bullpen and their share of bad contracts. Harper imo has been very underwhelming. If you're paying a guy that amount of money I expect him to lead the team to the World Series and compete for the triple crown ever year. I guess some Phillies fans will defend that contract saying we had to over pay to get him. But still....
I mean I can’t remember any Jets games over the years being especially suspicious in terms of the officiating.
The Jets get screwed whenever they play the Patriots as well.
Important. Look at 2012 getting slammed by the Jets on the opener. That year most people sort of had an idea it was over already after Game 1. They were correct
Yep. 3 wins out of the last 4. I still think ultimately they're going to come up short in the end but I do expect to see some fight.
I don't know the statistics but I want to say the Mets usually perform well on Labor Day. Until the Braves game that year September of 2001 was one of my most memorable months as a Mets fan. I still recall them beating the Phillies at the old Vet on Labor Day that year to sort of start their run.
