  1. Actually more of you guys are friendlier with your neighbors than I thought. Not that that’s a bad thing. I tended to think the modern world made it a little more difficult: social media, not really being home that often because of work other engagements, etc..... A kid of the 90s I always remember the TV shows if that area where people went through each other’s windows
  2. Horse power all right! Looked like those guys were candidates for Darwin awards even before that incident
  3. I guess it really didn’t matter much but that bothered me Diaz only pitched 1 inning. He had only 11 pitches and has off tomorrow. As I said not sure that would’ve changed the outcome but still.... You wonder if the suit is behind that I just found out that was Yaz’s grandson who got the wining hit. Didn’t even know he was in the league until today
  4. Seemed like the 1st 2 games of the series were very winnable.
  5. So I saw on some commercial only 1 in 3 Americans really "know" their neighbors nowadays so to speak. I forgot what company that was. Growing up I lived in a working/middle class Italian neighborhood where for the most part people all knew each other and looked out for each other. One time I remember in high school I forgot my keys to get in the house and one of the neighbors let me stay with her and fed me for a few hours until my mom got home. It's a bit more of a suburban neighborhood I'm in now where the phone lines are all underground. For the most part though people don't really socialize like that anymore in my experiences. I rarely see the neighbors. I'll say hello but I really don't "know" them.
  6. I haven't watched any of this Giants series but it sure seems we can easily be going for the sweep today.
  7. He may or may not be guilty but he pretty much strikes me as a scumbag one way or another
  8. Top Gun was the first time I remember him playing a cocky character. Ever since then I really haven't cared for his films for the most part. Although I still do really like All The Right Moves & Risky Business
  9. Unfortunately imo Gillette offers the best products for shaving. I buy it off eBay. I tried Harry’s and Dollar Shave Club. Wasn’t impressed. Their razors cut my face multiple times. I could understand the OPs apprehension though
  10. I like Baker. He strikes me more as of someone who wears his heart on his sleeve vs a d-bag. Yeah awful move but I have heard him own up to this and admit he was in the wrong
  11. This is actually the first time I thought of him this year. I guess Brodie's moves have been my main focus. It's too bad he didn't want to just polish up some things in the minors last year. I'm not saying that he'd be back to 2013 form but I'm thinking all this might have been prevented.
  12. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.buzzfeednews.com/amphtml/kateaurthur/new-beverly-hills-90210-fox The show is supposed to come back for 6 episodes this summer with a good amount of original cast members returning. Never watched it regularly but am familiar with most of the characters. It was huge for a while. Looks like Tiffani Theissen isn’t returning so not gonna tune in. Her character of Valerie was the most interesting and was written to be from Buffalo. Plus I thought she was the ultimate hottie when I was in middle school.
  13. I like his swagger, it’s something the Browns can feed off. My concern for him though is him staying focused.
  14. There’s a certain part of me that was looking for a work distraction ? But no I have always wondered if the boards here carry a more local vs out of town vibe. Some great feedback so far
  15. I tended to think of that as more Giants country. My aunt that married into the family was from there and her whole family were Giants fans
  16. For Bills territory I have in my head Buffalo (obviously), Rochester, Syracuse, and Ontario. Perhaps it’s another debate but Central NY like Binghamton/Utica I would tend to think leans toward the Jets/Giants? I like that this site gives perspectives locally for tailgating and such but you also hear from out of town fans like myself.
  17. Yeah but they started in Minnesota though
  18. Dallas Stars to say Portland Maine. it just seems weird to me a hockey team down south
  19. Here in NJ, the Jersey Shore is very popular. I might make it a few times during the week in the summer when it’s not as crowded as the weekends. Hold off on the Snooki jokes ? Elsewhere are they common by the Lakes?
  20. Wegmans in NJ sells it. Not sure about WNY
  21. Anyone like bison meat?
  22. I never really do but don’t see an issue with it
  23. I wonder if that’s a result of the Me Too movement
  24. It sounds like ultimately based on your description he still hasn't had much a personality transplant since 2014? Even if this radio show is supposedly hip. I'm not familiar with it.
  25. Yeah ultimately the right move would have been trading him over the summer when his stock was an all time high. While I didn't like most of Brodie's moves at the time I didn't have a problem with holding unto Wheeler. I would've been pissed if he got it all together consistently with another club. It's just par the course for the Mets though
