  1. And it is also weird how a talented coach can get more than adequate play out of otherwise mediocre QBs by tailoring the O to whatever talent the QB has.
  2. McBeane already made over the D...last off season, during the season and, who knows?, maybe even further this week. If you watch other teams, you could put together a pretty solid D just from former Whaley picks and FAs starting all around the league. Makes me sick.
  3. Bridgewater AND Mayfield! Maj, you are hereby ordered to offer no further QB ideas.
  4. Absolutely. 90 seconds. If they can't find clear evidence in a minute and a half, then the call should stand.
  5. Like he's the one to talk.
  6. Pleasse, neither of these bums.
  7. You are almost always "safer" signing players who have experience and a track record in the NFL over a rookie coming out of college. With the latter, you never can be sure how thing will turn out. Garapollo, Bortles, Alex Smith, Sam Bradford, whoever, you know to virtual certainty what you're getting whereas Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, even with all their talent, their success and their acclaim, are shots in the dark.
  8. Goff threw for 126 yards against the Seahawks last week. I guess they must of lost. Oh, they won? How is that possible if he didn't throw for 300?
  9. Belichick also knows football better than the Bills coaches.
  10. Every time you hit him, hurt him. Every time he's down, twist his hands , crush his fingers, poke his eyes, knee him in the crotch. And keep whispering to him that this treatment is going to continue every game until he retires.
  11. Geoff & Wentz? Wasn't that a men's store in Rochester?
  12. This strange fixation on Cousins continues to puzzle me. Changing Cousins for TT is the old Titanic deck chairs maneuver.
  13. Who is this unicorn of a QB that you refer to?
  14. If Gaines plays and is 100%, and if Rico calls a plays ALL 4 QUARTERS like Sunday"s first half, the Bills definitely have a chance.
  15. Seems the D yesterday significantly declined after his injury.
  16. Well, he was "a boy named Suh." So that was just his way of saying, "How do you do."
  17. Let's get back on the OP's topic: Will THE BILLS honor McCoy, not will he make the HOF. And, yes, if he plays another year or three like he has, he should be honored. He's been a good citizen, good teammate and done stellar work on the field. Why wouldn't they honor him?
  18. Yeah, he's no Aaron Rodgers and certainly not the Aaron Rodgers who has thrown 3 interceptions already today. Some of you need a new meth dealer. Second tier backup indeed.
  19. And we could hqve had Kupp, already Rams all time rookie receiver.
  20. There is no indication he has any sense of contemporary NFL offensive football. And because of that huge blind spot, I think he is absolutely the wrong HC for the supposed rookie "franchise QB" Beaney Baby is plotting to trade the future for. The decline of the Bills offense from okay to wretched is a flashing red sign. As to the improvement of the defense for which he's getting hosannas from many around here, any coach not named Ryan could see how to fix it. Hell, most of this board long ago diagnosed it, so at best I give him credit for doing the obvious. So whether it's after this season, next season or the season after that, I think he will join that very long list of former Bills coaches who couldn't get it done, another mediocrity for a franchise that defines mediocrity.
