  1. I think that by season 3, you have a good idea on what a player is or is not capable of. The reports (multiple) out of TC have him getting manhandled by second rate o-linemen. I would not think that a positive thing in a prove-it year. I don't know if Fede or Owa offer much more than he does, but in year 3, it's really a case of if they offer any more it's still more. I wish he was more than he is....I just don't think he is.
  2. Much ado about nothing. Dez was washed up 2 seasons ago and was reminiscent of our favourite whipping boy old Armadillo hands last year. Why anyone from the Cowboys feels the need to respond is beyond me. Media soundbites and social media are horrendous.
  3. Good post-dump post right there Royale. I do my best posting mid-deuce I find....
  4. Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't sound promising behind this OL. Designed roll outs are going to be integral and the QB's ability to escape AND get the ball out is key.
  5. This season is all on the defense. If they play as well as many of us expect, the team will be in every game that the QB doesn't turn the ball over incessantly, which sadly is a reasonable expectation to have with the group behind center. If the team is 3-5 at the turn, I'll give them 9-7. It's a new offence with a need to gel which we should hope to see improvement in throughout the season.
  6. Sorry. Sarcasm and cheekiness don't come off that well in print for me apparently. Meant no offence, nor am I attempting to start a ongoing battle. BTW, I've got 13 years on the board, formerly as VanCity. I probably should have at least got your catch phrase right.
  7. Thank 716! Greatly appreciated!!
  8. You are an idiot. I always wanted to say that to you. Take no offense. Actually....take a bunch and dwell on it.
  9. But, has he hit a sideline tent yet? Then we can officially call him a bust and be done with it...
  10. More like "Planes, Trains and Automobiles to the post-camp unemployment line"
  11. John Hughes?! A little Breakfast Club might be in order for this team...
  12. Day 1...but I'm okay with switching the QB order and dropping Nate to the bottom....
  13. Where they serve only the finest food. Escargot and such....
  14. I've called Foster as a roster guy since minicamp. Not backing off that now.
  15. This is a good call. If he has healed, he would be a nice RB3 with potential. We assume Shady and Ivory as 1 and 2, but Cadet is replaceable and older than Darkwa.
  16. You don't like using appropriate capitalization. That offends me. I will take up the sword for my Québécois brethren.
  17. Sounds like he's still having the same issues as last season. Gave him three calls and he didn't catch any of them....
  18. Hotter than the richest stick figure on the planet?!! How could that be?!
  19. I had hoped his vision would improve. Now he has to sign? Crap. Sorry...dad joke...
  20. If we don't like having first round picks in the next three drafts, we have a chance.
  21. I made a Philly Blunt with honey ham once....
  22. I actually think Foster is more than a dark horse roster candidate. He was getting burn with the ones at minicamp. Hopefully he turns out to be one of the great finds of the '18 draft.
  23. I trust this regime in their defensive signings. I hope to soon say the same about those on the other side of the ball.
  24. As beach bodies go, mine definitely trumps his. As bodies of work go....different story.
  25. I think you are onto something in terms of the sports bars in that city. The sports bars in Bellingham are more populous and more informed than those in Seattle itself. But, when it comes to food, activities, sites and great neighbourhoods to walk, Seattle really is a great city. It's the one that I've been to the most games in aside from Buffalo, so I may be a little bit biased.
