  1. I think you’re going a bit far. To wish ill will towards somebody based on their brain power, or lack there of, doesn’t say much for you. I’m not an OBJ fan, but you need to take it down a notch.
  2. Would have made for a great Biff in Back to the Future.
  3. Based on that game, our defence is top five and our offence is bottom 10. I guess 17 is a good average
  4. The actual truth is that the Jets have nothing to lose in giving him a tryout. They can’t go into week 2 with Vedvik. They lost all confidence in the guy and he earned a trip to the unemployment office.
  5. Some people might not appreciate that, but I actually kind of like the fact that they are not out there to give anybody moral victories. They don’t care if you feel bad. You are playing the sport at a professional level and if you don’t show up you get stomped. Still &$#* the Pats.
  6. We weren’t playing them. It’s game planning. I’m not attempting to be argumentative, but game planning is based on the opposition. The Jets were hardly proving to be an offensive juggernaut. This was the right strategy at the right time. Playing to let Brady or Mahomes have time on the clock would have elicited a completely different reaction from myself and every rational poster here.
  7. Don’t quote the whole post when it’s that long. Please. So, you wanted to see the ball thrown instead of running out the clock? Glad you’re not the coach
  8. Trusts Daboll to manage that
  9. I shook with nervous energy, bit my fingernails off and disavowed my children when they stepped in front of the TV. But, Barkley never crossed my mind
  10. Let their play reflect their uniforms!
  11. I could watch that all game long.
  12. I’ve watched the Bills go through a lot of qb’s since Bledsoe.None has truly looked the part. This guy has an “it factor” that is unmistakable when you see him. That’s my quarterback.
  13. Took my dog, Billy, for a walk this morning. A plane flew overhead and he took a dump. A sign I say, a sign....
  14. I understand your take. Mine is based solely upon Ole Miss...which showed his ability but was, albeit, vs a lower quality of competition. In watching him in preseason, I was impressed by his poise and his accuracy. I was not impressed with Brissett at all. Just my take....
  15. I am of this opinion too. Reich is a good coach and he has surrounded Brissett with sufficient talent to succeed. However, Brissett and Hoyer combined aren’t as good as Luck and neither has shown an ability to lead a team to a championship, which was definitely the end goal prior to Luck’s retirement. I don’t think Chad’s their saviour, but I think he has as good a chance as any of the three
  16. Cooper might get passed by Gallup as WR1 due to injury and reliability.
  17. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2020/ not much in terms of top end talent. Von Miller is always intriguing, but doesn’t seem like a fit based on age.
  18. I admit to not having been a big fan of the Vikings shtick. Then I went to the game there last year and it is actually pretty awesome when you are in the stadium. The whole Skol chant is pretty darn powerful.
  19. Love that Kyle has given up his time to still be part of this years squad. I don’t think we’ll see another Bill as committed to the franchise as him for a long, long time. What a legend!
  20. Yeah! Learn from the pro!
  21. Just to clarify, I don’t think Bojo is a great holder. What I do think is that they’re trying to get as many reps with one person holding the ball based on the fact that they haven’t made a move for another punter except the rumoured one to try and get the guy from Cleveland.
  22. I’m really starting to think they are valuing the holder aspect of the position as much as the kicker. Consistency with Hauschka may hold the key to this question.
  23. Spence is intriguing, Treadwell is not whatsoever.
