  1. Didn’t believe the preseason hype on either of these quarterbacks. Glad I picked Chris Godwin though in fantasy. I expected Arians to start working a little bit of his magic with Jameis at some point, but not enough to overcome his shortcomings
  2. Oh yes, I forgot that was totally on Allen and not on Beasley’s hands
  3. I think we are seeing a situation where it is become more apparent that the pundits are just looking at scores and box scores. If they open their eyes during a game, their evaluations would be much more accurate. I may be guilty of being a homer, but if you watched Allen’s game, you would see a very different quarterback then they are portraying him as. I would not have described him as looking raw .
  4. We can keep this up. Being called a sap is hardly offensive to me. Being a person with compassion for others is an attribute that I am proud of and should be proud of. Your attitude is nothing to be proud of. It’s pathetic.
  5. Nowadays quarterbacks wanna throw like they gonna make a play, but nothing pans out when they flick their wrist, they just completely miss, all these chuckers just act like they forgot about Tre... sorry @Sherlock Holmes had to one up you
  6. Sorry that you’re not a better person.
  7. I think you’re going a bit far. To wish ill will towards somebody based on their brain power, or lack there of, doesn’t say much for you. I’m not an OBJ fan, but you need to take it down a notch.
  8. Would have made for a great Biff in Back to the Future.
  9. Based on that game, our defence is top five and our offence is bottom 10. I guess 17 is a good average
  10. The actual truth is that the Jets have nothing to lose in giving him a tryout. They can’t go into week 2 with Vedvik. They lost all confidence in the guy and he earned a trip to the unemployment office.
  11. Some people might not appreciate that, but I actually kind of like the fact that they are not out there to give anybody moral victories. They don’t care if you feel bad. You are playing the sport at a professional level and if you don’t show up you get stomped. Still &$#* the Pats.
  12. We weren’t playing them. It’s game planning. I’m not attempting to be argumentative, but game planning is based on the opposition. The Jets were hardly proving to be an offensive juggernaut. This was the right strategy at the right time. Playing to let Brady or Mahomes have time on the clock would have elicited a completely different reaction from myself and every rational poster here.
  13. Don’t quote the whole post when it’s that long. Please. So, you wanted to see the ball thrown instead of running out the clock? Glad you’re not the coach
  14. Trusts Daboll to manage that
  15. I shook with nervous energy, bit my fingernails off and disavowed my children when they stepped in front of the TV. But, Barkley never crossed my mind
  16. Let their play reflect their uniforms!
  17. I could watch that all game long.
  18. I’ve watched the Bills go through a lot of qb’s since Bledsoe.None has truly looked the part. This guy has an “it factor” that is unmistakable when you see him. That’s my quarterback.
  19. Took my dog, Billy, for a walk this morning. A plane flew overhead and he took a dump. A sign I say, a sign....
  20. I understand your take. Mine is based solely upon Ole Miss...which showed his ability but was, albeit, vs a lower quality of competition. In watching him in preseason, I was impressed by his poise and his accuracy. I was not impressed with Brissett at all. Just my take....
  21. I am of this opinion too. Reich is a good coach and he has surrounded Brissett with sufficient talent to succeed. However, Brissett and Hoyer combined aren’t as good as Luck and neither has shown an ability to lead a team to a championship, which was definitely the end goal prior to Luck’s retirement. I don’t think Chad’s their saviour, but I think he has as good a chance as any of the three
  22. Cooper might get passed by Gallup as WR1 due to injury and reliability.
  23. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2020/ not much in terms of top end talent. Von Miller is always intriguing, but doesn’t seem like a fit based on age.
