  1. Wow. Cowboys might steal this one. Well, Hail Mary time.
  2. If anyone needs to be fired, it’s Al Riveron. That dude is a terrible head of officiating.
  3. Wow !@#$ replay officials. They don’t know what they are doing in NY. He was clearly down short.
  4. Screw you CBS. Really had to break that out.
  5. He caught that cleanly. Just put it down and if it gets blocked it gets blocked.
  6. Zay still has a chance. Kupp s good because of the other WR talent around him. Kupp wouldn't be a #1 WR, he's a good route runner, but is open because he gets mismatches. With such a poor WR corps, Zay can't get the same advantages Cupp can.
  7. I think Hughes didn’t get any calls because he started mouthing off at the ref, about not calling them. But, they were bad and the ref should be above pettiness like that.
  8. Maybe McDermott is instructing Daboll to create a “teaching” game plan for Allen. Like, trial by fire. We are going to suck this year so let the kid handle everything we can give him. I don’t care if it’s a disaster people learn best by practice, so these games are essentially just practice to McDermott.
  9. I don’t think we have blitzed at all. Play bump and run, man to man defense and blitz Rodgers.
  10. So how many fire McDermott and Beane and Josh Allen sucks threads will there be after this game. Im in the stands, and we look terrible.
  11. And then New England will put us right back in our place and we'll finish the season 7-9.
  12. I’ll be there with a five other Packers fans. Aka my wife and her family.
  13. I'm just saying. Miller has probably been the weakest, other than Groy at center. IMO, the team looked best when Groy was playing guard.
  14. I thought the line looked the best when Groy was playing the guard spot for Ducasse. Although, I would have him replace Miller because Vlad hasn't been terrible.
  15. He is by far my favorite player now. I just got his jersey for tomorrow's game and next week's game. I was so ecstatic when we signed him. Green Bay never understood the value he offered during his time there. Plus, now that I live in northeast Iowa (you wanna talk about a place with nothing to do and we still manage to have fun all the time) it's even cooler he was a Hawkeye.
  16. That's still not anywhere near Green Bay.
  17. The GM and Coach. But, this GM and Coach decided to rebuild. This GM and Coach decided to blow it up. This GM and Coach looked at a mediocre team that had gone 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7, the four previous years before they arrived and decided that with the cap hell we were in we were just going to continue to spin the tires and not move any further down the road. Making the playoffs last year was a happy accident. In fact, one could argue the Bills were one of the worst statistical teams to make the playoffs. It's either fire them both right now, while the team is down to the studs and allow someone else to build the roster, or back off and let them build a team. Terry and Kim decided the later. You have to let that go. I knew we were going to be terrible back in April. I accepted that. I now look forward to watching games to see if players are getting better. Yeah, maybe this team only wins 2 or 3 games. But, if we go from being blown out to being consistently in games each and every week by the end of the season, we'll have taken a major step forward and we'll know we have the right coach in place to develop players and move forward. Time will tell, but it's time to stop bitching about our coach and Gm and let them do their thing.
  18. Look at the situation Mahomes is in. Do you think he would be having the success he is in Buffalo right now? No. Do you think Tom Brady would be the GOAT if he was drafted by the Bills instead? probably not. A lot of it comes down to circumstance and the team around you.
  19. The thing is $80 million next year is great, but don't think they are just going to spend that and magically be good next year. It is going to take at least two years. At least two free agent pools and drafts to build the roster out. I would expect us to sign a couple players to four or five-year contracts with some high cash amounts and then a lot of players to one-year deals next year. This way, they can turn around and have a lot of cap space for the next year, as well to continue to improve the roster. Remember, NFL teams have to spend, what 90 or 95 percent of their cap every season. It's in the collective bargaining agreement. Some have said next year's free agent pool won't be very good, so you sign one-year deals to clear cap space for the next season.
  20. Hey, I live just an hour and a half from where he went to high school. In fact, he went to high school in the town where the "Field of Dreams" was filmed.
  21. I enjoy how the NFL can't even interpret its own rules right and to save face for Corrente is doubling down on is game-changing, terrible call. Matthews nor Kendricks scooped-and-pulled. It's called physics, something the NFL leaders need to learn about. When a player gets hit, especially when both QBs leave the ground on their own accord as they did in both these hits, physics takes over and you have the result that occurred, a perfectly legal hit where the QBs feet leave the ground. Again, both Rodgers and Cousins jumped into the air, they were already in the air when hit. They both did it to get more force behind there passes. When that happens, your feet are going to come out from under you when your hit in the midsection.
  22. What is a retired QB going to do? A retired QB isn't going to know the playbook. He might be able to give simple info, but the kind of info that McCown is able to give Darnold is invaluable because he actually understands the playbook and whats supposed to be going on.
