I know. We can debate whether or not we have a good QB coach. But putting down Peterman because he can't mentor Allen is stupid, IMO. That's not Peterman's job. It is no QB's job, really. Favre refused to mentor Aaron Rodgers. Sometimes teams get lucky, and the veteran will help the young guy. Most times, it doesn't happen.

Sounds like McDermont should have Juan take a couple education classes in the offseason if he retains him after this year. Would do wonders for his ability to coach. Everyone is an individual, and everyone learns differently. If Juan can't figure out how to get the best out of each player and develop them the way they learn best, he needs to go.

I would bet a majority of them are and then signed to practice squads. You are a bubble player the minute you're drafted especially since undrafted rookies are brought in immediately. When you draft someone in the fifth to seventh round you are basically saying, we want to guarantee ourselves a chance to see this kid in practice rather than hoping he signs with you after the draft.
