Jim MIller's take on the review of the incomplete pass was obnoxious. Bro, of course it looks like he got control, they showed the play in super slow motion. Plays like that need to be shown at full speed on replay to determine control. We know he lost it and we know he bobbled it, so its what constitutes control. He held that ball for less than a second before hitting the ground and the ball started moving. To me, that isn't control there Milly.

8-30: Joe B One-on-One Interview with Brandon Beane
Watkins90 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's funny when sports reporters don't even know what team the Bills are playing this week. -
How is it puzzling. This is preseason guys, he is trying to evaluate the whole roster not just one position, albeit the most important position. This is when you do it.

They also cut Jordan Matthews.

Bills Announce 2018 Game Day Promotions and Giveaways
Watkins90 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What the !@#$ is a Yowie? It's the gate giveaway for the Titans game. -
I could use this since I pay $124 a month for the service right now. However, we have only been customers for two-years so I don't know how much room I have to stand on.

Right. I'd like to be able to watch the all-22. I'm just saying if there is someone who isn't going to use, don't let it go to waste. I'll use it.

So you guys just call and say you want a discount, or do you actually say you want to cancel and then they start spewing discounts at you?
-
If anyone isn't going to use their code, I'd take it off their hands.

That was a bs late hit call. If that was any other player the flag never would have been thrown. Also, Mayfield isn’t defenseless at that point. He didn’t slide. It was a bad call.

Meh. Peterman's INT came during a one-minute drill, where there was five seconds left on the clock at the 5-yard-line. In that situation, the INT is better than a sack. At least Peterman tried to force something since there wouldn't be another play. It was do or die. I didn't see the play, as there is no video yet. But, if no one was open, at least he tried to make something happen. Can't crush him for that INT.

"Ruining" a QB by starting him too soon
Watkins90 replied to Buffalo86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I count about 23 if not more busts on that list. I need to go back and see where some guys were drafted. I mean Alex Smith has had a nice long career but has never been the prolific QB that a No. 1 overall should be. So, do you consider him a bust because he never lived up to the hype, but had a long career. -
Jason LaCanfora and Peter King reports from Bills camp
Watkins90 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even if they don't use an editor, he should at least read it over once before posting it. A simple read over would have caught most of those errors. For example, he spelled the word line as lein. -

As a fellow journalist, granted I live and work in a very small town, the number of spelling errors in his article was frustrating. -

My wife's family are all Packers fans, so we are all making the trip up from Northeast Iowa. I am super excited. -
I have always been for paying college athletes. I think the solution is to allow universities to offer any student-athlete $100 to $300 per week during his or her season. The school can set the rate as it so wishes between those two numbers and only pay the students when they are in season. This would give the students spending money without breaking the bank. Schools wouldn't have to offer to pay the players, but if they offer up to one athlete they have to offer it to all athletes and give at least the minimum to all of them. Also, I think student-athletes should be able to sell their likeness and get money for doing commercials or autograph signings. It's a free market and if a car dealership is willing to pay a player $1,000 to come sign autographs, that player should be allowed to get that money.

If I'm the Bills. I get him placed on the Commissioner exempt list today. Don't wait. Your brand is much more important than one aging superstar. He stays there until it plays out. He gets charged, immediately cut. He doesn't, and the cops find no wrongdoing, he comes off the exempt list and back on the active roster. With allegations like these, he should even see the training camp field.

My in-laws, who are Packer fans, Paid $500 a ticket for 50-yard line Bills side about 20 rows up. We'll be getting there on Saturday. We have an Air BnB on the lake about half an hour away from the town. We bought our tickets through the exchange. Also going to the Minnesota game the weekend before. I live in northeast Iowa, so I'm not too far from each city. Brewers stadium is nice. It's my goal to get to every MLB stadium before I die.
