I don't hate the pick. I'm just pissed we moved up to get a player that would have been there at 12. Miami will take Rosen at 11. We gave up 2 second round picks that could have turned into at least decent plug and play players that could contribute.

I don't think he'll be a bust. However, he would have been there at 12. There was no reason to move up.

Or, were not willing to give up the farm when we have so many needs.

I doubt we trade up now. Beane will just take whoever Miami doesn't.

Anyone going to games in back-to-back weeks? I plan to go to Minnesota 9/23 and the Green Bay 9/30. My wife and her family are big Green Bay fans, so I think that is definitely happening.

This, because I live in northeast Iowa and plan to make the five-hour trek to GB for the game with my wife, who is a GB fan.

As someone who lives 35 minutes from where he grew up, I'd be extremely happy with his. He is actually hosting his wedding reception in the town I live in. His future wife's mother is good friends with my mother-in-law.

I don't get this. It's not like they played the Sunday after the Championships. There was a week off, so why would there be much of a difference?

I like how a QB can’t resurrect his career or end up being good because he had a bad couple of years.

How do we know he is mediocre. He thrived in Philly and was then ruined by Jeff Fisher. He went to KC as a backup for a year, and learning from Andy Reed has seemed to resurrect his career. It took him a little bit to get going when Carson went down, but that is too be expected when you aren't really getting reps in practice. If Carson Wentz wasn't some MVP candidate player who was super young and showed a lot of promise, he probably wouldn't be getting his job back if Foles wins tomorrow.

And, why is that? If Nick Foles hadn't gone to St. Louis, which was QB purgatory with Jeff Fisher, he could have made something of himself. Now he has a chance to go out and beat Brady in the Super Bowl and then he would be available. You wouldn't want a QB who has beaten Brady in a Super Bowl to build around?

Let's go get us the Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles (or at least that is my prediction.) He was really good in Philly under Kelly, and if Fisher hadn't ruined the kid, he probably would have been a Super Star. I would def take a chance on him. Trade Philly like a second round or third round pick after the Super Bowl and see how the kid competes in training camp.
