How do we know that is conservative playcalling. How do we know that they didn't set up deep shots it just wasn't there.

Why are we being charged with a timeout? The clock was stopped when Drake stepped out of bounds. You don't have to use timeouts for injuries when the clock is already stopped.

The refs don't even know the rules. Intentional grounding is always a spot foul and loss of down, not a 10-yard penalty from the previous spot. It really pisses me off when the refs don't even know the rules better than some fat dude sitting on his couch.

How is having a guy with his kind of work ethic on this team bad? He is only a second-year player, he can continue to improve. I don't think the guy can be an every-down TE, but he is probably good depth at a cheap price.

My eyeballs tell me he has been getting better with touch throws. He made a couple impressive touch throws against New England, while also making some bad ones. But, there seem to be more good ones lately.

His kids are still young enough that he could play another year or two and not miss too much. I bet he hangs it up after next year if the organization doesn't go anywhere.

It's not some arbitrary age that he hits that will make him better. It's about being young and his body still developing physically. Look at guys like Vander Esch, who have two years on him in age. You just have to give the guy time to develop, if they don't, then you move on from him when his rookie contract is up. I swear, people on this board just think that if you aren't a HOF player your complete trash. They think that if a rookie doesn't come in a light the world on fire he is a bust. Hello, a lot of guys struggle as a rookie and turn it on later in their careers.

We haven't run a jet sweep all day and used those effectively the last few weeks. Odd we haven't run that.

The negativity on this message board is just astounding. Any little thing goes wrong and its fire this guy or that guy is a bum. Yes, we have had some blowouts this year, but by in large we have been in games and have had opps. to win. Sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way, it hasn't this year, but it did last year. McDermott isn't getting fired and will be here for the next two years unless next year is a disaster.

I completely disagree. The Chiefs would be undefeated with a defense like ours. We have to remember that this is the new NFL, teams with decent offenses are going to score points. The defense keeping this to 14-0 is pretty good, IMO.
