It's a shame Cooper hasn't stepped up, nor has Coleman really. Mack has been better than advertised, but that doesn't mean he should be on the field as much as he is. Unfortunately it looks like the Bills still are in the market for a #1 WR

I was screaming at McD to challenge the spot. I looked back on replay and it was like a 1/2 yard off. Still it would have been on the 2 instead of the 2.5 and maybe we go straight tush push two times in a row, like Romo said.

yeah, that's a good point. Credit to McD and babich for using 3 LBs from the get go to shut down Henry. That tilted the game in our advantage from the beginning, which is what I was hoping for. But then the 2nd half happened and the last few drives. Worries me that playoff Sean is back and our coaching staff doesn't know how to go for the jugular. Ravens let us off the hook and players (Bernard, etc...) finished the game despite the coaching

it was absolutely asinine. They had two DEs, a LB as DT, and then had blitzers running into each other. The D on that last drive was giving me flashbacks to 13 seconds. It's almost like they wanted to concede the TD to get to the 2pt conversion and allow for enough time for Josh to drive down for the winning FG..... possible? Hope for better next week against the Chiefs. The coaches can't f this up again. Go Bills!

Mr Brightside Playing at the Stadium
harmonkillebrew replied to jimmynunn's topic in The Stadium Wall
They normally play it late 3rd quarter, early 4th, after we're blowing teams out already. It's mostly a fun sing along that gives good winning vibes, despite the lyrics maybe not really matching. No one pays attention to lyrics anyways -
What % of the plays will we play 3 LBs on Sunday?
harmonkillebrew replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
We employ an extra offensive lineman, why not do it on D? Have Von play an 3-4 OLB type roll on occasion to go with 4 DLs Neither could Dorian. Got roasted regularly. However, Dorian is good at the LOS. If we go 3LBs he should regularly run blitz to attack Henry's legs -
Rosen was the "Wrong Josh" after all...
harmonkillebrew replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
amazing how the 2018 QB class has rebounded this year. Baker and Darnold were written off as busts two years ago. Maybe someone should give Rosen a shot! -

Roster moves - includes release of Toohill

Jordan Phillips and Quinton Jefferson over Toohill... I guess. Beefing up for the winter. -
Some guys mature later than others. So while he was only 6'1" he also probably wasn't as strong or strong armed as he would become.

Hiring a Clock management specialist
harmonkillebrew replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Problem is it's not just clock management, it's situational football. McD has actually gotten better with the clock, imho, since he's grown into the HC role and gave up play calling/DC duties. But he still makes some questionable situational, end of game decisions. The first being not declining the penalty to save time and leave it at 4th and 7, knowing a FG doesn't hurt us much. The other obviously being not having two calls ready for the first failed QB sneak. If you run that play, you have to be ready to go a 2nd time immediately. I also didn't like the end of the half not going for it on 4th down and losing the chance for a double dip around the half. That said, going for it on 4th against KC to put the game away was balls. -
I agree Detroit is probably too early to give him significant PT. But Hyde does bring an element we don't really have at Safety now - ball-hawking. We could use Hyde's instincts and coverage skills to generate a few more TOs
-
He might get back to form, but the question should be: do we have the luxury to wait? We're losing seeding, which is important come playoffs. I don't think we should let an obviously currently inferior Milano play every snap over Dorian.

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
harmonkillebrew replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady kept saying how the combo of Stafford (savvy vet) and Puka/Kupp was just too much for our zone D. We needed to mix it up more. Stafford actually got pressured some, but he was so comfortable with his reads on our D that he just chucked it to the open spot before he got sacked. The Bills couldn't stop the run either, especially in the first half. That was a rough game against an O that is finally healthy and in sync. We didn't look great against SF either, but got bailed out by TOs. I hate to say it, but Milano might need to sit a little more until fully healthy and up to speed. We also could use Hyde for Hamlin from a coverage standpoint against better passing teams. -
White Jersey's, Blue pants, White socks for the Rams
harmonkillebrew replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
So have they abandoned the throwbacks? Still like the all white throwbacks with multiple sleeve stripes and standing buffalo -
Just caught a blantant cheap shot at our QB from last week

Not called, but should be a fine. Definitely led with his head. -
Is this the best team in the Allen era?
harmonkillebrew replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
This isn't the best statistical team, but part of that is because of their efficiency and the reduction in turnovers. The Bills haven't needed to go up and down the field to score and the D is playing opportunistically despite giving up yards in chunks. I think the RB room is the best the Bills have had with Allen. I think the Oline is the best it's been. I think Allen is the best he's been. CB and Dline could also make an argument. Other areas are still improving and if we can get past the divisional round it could very well be the best Allen team so far -
It's true. Also MVS stepped right into the vertical role Shaheed had in their O before he got injured. We just don't feature that type of play as much and Josh isn't as accurate on those throws as Carr.
