That reason can be accounted for by two words. Prototypical and potential.

Wentz had a far more accurate, efficient and productive college career. The level of competition was the question mark. Allen has had a below average career at a mediocre school playing mediocre competition. The fact that they are both big and have strong arms is about the only thing they have in common. Wentz's success is really stoking the Allen hype train. Allen"s comp % was 95th out of 125 qbs ! Yds per att. of 6.7 was 94th! By those important metrics he was a terrible qb. I sure hope the Bills don't fall for it.

Bucky Brooks NFL combine winners (Allen) & losers (Rosen).

Granted, there are a lot of variables, but the hype machine is way out of control imo. The guy is big and can really chuck the ball. Other than that he has shown nothing. Last year with a better team his comp % was worse than this year. If you are only getting 6.7 yds. per att. your comp % better be a lot higher than 56%. -

I already posted this in one other thread and I promise this will be the last time. The Josh Allen hype.... I have never seen so much hype for a guy who was so below average in college, 82nd out of 125 in passing eff., and 75th out of 125 in total qbr. 56% completions two years in a row playing in a weak non power conference. That completion % was 95th out of 125, let that sink in. I get the fact that he is big and can throw the ball far, but the hype and comparisons are ridiculous. At least Wentz was accurate and had an efficient college career, Allen has never shown that he can play the game at a high level. P.S. His 6.7 yds. per att. was 94th out of 125. -

Nobody knows how he will turn out, but we do know that he wasn't all that great in college against mediocre competition. Landry on the block, with the tag

Really hoping the Dolphins get stuck with his cap hit. Landry's 16 and the oft injured Quinn's $11million hits will severely limit their options going forward, as they are already in the red. -

I think he is a sure thing, highly doubt he makes it to 21 and probably goes top 10. -

Bills really need lbs. I expect them to pick one in the first 2 rounds. -

Was about to post that and then watched Griffin go 4.38. Carter time at 250lbs is incredible. -

I cannot imagine anyone paying Landry over $16 million let alone trading away assets for that 'privilege'. I think when it is all said and done Miami will be stuck with that ridiculous cap hit. -

One GM commented that Mayfield's football knowledge was off the charts, Rosen's Darnold's and Rudolph's were very good, but Allen and Jackson were a long way off. -

I live in Eugene and met my wife at U of O 20 yrs ago. I think Freeman is going to be a good pro but I can guarantee you he will not run sub 4.4, more like 4.5. He has burst and power but not breakaway speed. -
When I was little my friends dad used to bring Canadian bacon back. Just tasted like ham to me. Molson Brador was my favorite food smuggled out of Canada. It was too strong to buy in the states then. My mom loved Mackintosh toffee. Every trip to Crystal Beach she would bring home bags of it. We would freeze it and then slam it on the counter to break it into little pieces.

For me the Women's gold medal hockey game was epic. The finish to the ladies cross country relay was incredible as well. Those are two memorable moments that come to mind. I wish I could unsee and hear that horrible singing and dancing from tonight though. A shame he wasn't the bearer, such a shining example of good sportsmanship.

They didn't lose to anybody OOC. They were ranked AP 4th when conf play started, but are in 9th place at 7-9 in the supposedly garbage Pac 12. That is what I don't understand. If the 9th place team goes undefeated knocking off 3 top teams OOC, the Pac 12 is obviously not a weak conference.

Have a good sized collection. ~600 records. Was gifted a nice collection of well cared for good quality music recently as well. Will never let them go. I love looking at the covers artwork, they bring back a lot of memories. Have to admit I don't have a decent record player right now and have them put away in cardboard boxes. Glad I saw this post, gonna motivate me to get a player.

I am on the west coast and I am having a hard time understanding all the love for the SEC this year. Lunardi has 8 of them making the tourney, a few with losing conf records, and only 2 from the pac 12. I keep hearing the Pac 12 is garbage but UCLA beat UK on the road and Az. St. beat Xavier, Kansas, K St. etc and yet sit in 9th place in the conference. The 9th place team went and beat those top teams and somehow the conf is weak? Doesn t add up, another thing wrong is the RPI. Az St. is the 2nd ranked pac team in their ranking, ahead of teams who have beaten them twice and have better conf records. Their ranking just happens to make X and KU losses look better on their resumes. Az St in 9th place is one of the teams Lunardi has in. Makes no sense.

That was such an hilariously righteous moment. I fell out of my chair.

PFF: How the Vikings Might Handle Their QB Dilemma
Turk71 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you may be right, but quite a few teams need qbs. I think he is a big risk and won t command too big of a salary. Somebody will pay Keenum. I agree with Bradford being gone. Big offseason. -

Pretty sure they are all UFAs and can go anywhere they choose. Bridgewater wants to start as already mentioned, and for that matter Bradford and Keenum want to be starters as well I assume. They probably can't keep more than 1. -
I had the sound turned off just minutes into the game. His voice is unbearable and has been for a while.
