  1. I have no idea if Philly will trade Foles. They have only 15 million invested between Foles and Wentz this year and to be honest I would probably keep him for insurance if I was them. We know they have to get under the cap but I am not familiar enough with them to know what their options might be. That said, I think it is completely ridiculous for people to say that Foles has always been mediocre before his magical playoff run, as if it is just some fluke. His 2013 passer rating was the 3rd highest in NFL history going back to at least 1941. Aaron Rodgers 2011 and Peyton Manning 2004 are the only ones higher. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_rating_single_season.htm. He also had the highest TD to Int. ratio ever recorded. The next year he broke his collarbone and got shipped off to Fishers Rams and since has been a backup to Smith in KC and Wentz in Philly. At 6'6" 245 lbs he is a prototypical pocket passer, he flashed brilliance in his 2nd season, got kicked around the league then when he got another chance he flashed brilliance again in an epic playoff run culminating in a Super Bowl win and MVP over Tom Brady and the hated Patriots. So he may not be available but get the !@#$ out of here with this he sucks bull ****. We wish we had a qb who sucked like that.
  2. He is saying the Eagles were willing, not the Bills. Tre is not going anywhere.

  4. 2014 I think he broke his collarbone, or somebody probably did it for him. Think he struggled coming back from it too.
  5. Rosen has a slight build and suffered 2 concussions last year. I think he needs to get stronger and accustomed to the speed of the NFL.
  6. I was speaking generally in reference to Foles=Tyrod being a terrible comparison.
  7. Foles and Tyrod couldn't be more different. Foles is a 6'6" pure pocket passer with no mobility but far better accuracy and anticipation.
  8. I couldn't see why he would go anywhere else.
  9. A lot of possibilities, I can't remember a time there were so many qbs on the move with a draft so deep with talent.
  10. I guess it all depends on what you would have to pay, and somehow knowing who the best prospect is going to be.
  11. Foles is my first choice, his contract is ridiculously team friendly. If not I would look for the best value. There are a lot of qbs on the market that would still be upgrades imo.
  12. You're plan is to draft Rosen and play him right away? The guy is a 6'4" 213 lbs twig who suffered 2 concussions last year. He wouldn't last the season. People thinking any of these qbs are a guaranteed success are way off imo. I want a qb who can play now while the prospect learns. There is no reason the Bills can't compete immediately while grooming the future. This team made the playoffs with below avg qb play. No reason they can't go further with a better qb. I want them to keep winning, not just blindly hoping the guy they picked is gonna be the one.
  13. Wow, Matt Moore, on a day like this. What a buzzwrecker.
  14. From someone who was vehemently opposed to the Ryan debacle and never had delusions of Tyrod taking them all the way, I have not felt this good about the direction this team is going in a very long time it seems. Now get the right vet and rookie qbs, nail the draft, need a great lb dt wr ol , then get your popcorn ready.
  15. Exciting day for Buffalo sports. The Bulls are kickin ass and Bonnie trying to hold on with a minute left.
  16. We know his ceiling, Super Bowl MVP. Foles has had some rough stretches, but he has had more than a handful of great games. His 2nd year he was incredible, the highest td to int ratio of all time. 27 td. to 2 int. , over 2800 yds in just 10 games, 119. passer rating. He broke his collarbone and struggled for a couple years. He is also the biggest qb in the league at 6' 6" 245 lbs. Not saying he will be consistently good but at 7 million cap hit he is the perfect bridge if you want to win now and prepare for the future. I say get Foles and the prospect you want.
  17. Ya, we should probably keep the celebration subdued until it is official. Don't want them thinking they screwed up.
  18. I was kinda hoping Miami would be stuck with Landry's cap hit. 14 million and two picks is a lot to pay for 7 or 8 yds per catch. The Browns are really Brownsing it up.
  19. Pretty sure that is the last move they will make. Nate Peterman will be the starter and the backup.
  20. Good question, why are you not thrilled?
  21. I don't think so, and I hope not. Are you saying the Browns won this trade???
  22. Okay. I remember him in college but have not really seen his pro game. I know he has potential but regard him as an unknown commodity still.
  23. What has McCarron ever done and what would you pay him. You would be going into the season with 3 unproven qbs. I ddon't like that plan.
