One of the draft paths had a QB named Drew Lock that had all measurable but turned out to be a bust if you drafted him. I know this cuz I did and it set my franchise back. My bad with the confusion and this probably doesn’t go here. It’s just funny to me they made up qb names 10 years ago and they matched an actual irl kid.

I live in Phoenix. I have been pounding the table for Rosen to take a break like Allen did. He is getting manhandled behind this even worse than the Bills offensive line. I fear the GM, HC will be gone at the end of the year with Rosen scared from many hits. I like Allen and I'm glad he's on the Bills but I wanted to see Rosen do well too. People forget these are young men who I only wish the best for. Unless they are on the pats then the heck with you.

It was nice to see Allen sit in the pocket and throw the ball. He was a true pocket QB today as the lions forced him to beat them with his arm and he did. Save a few dropped passes it wouldn't have been that close. couple floaters too were nice to see from him especially the one to Croom to clinch the game. Encouraging.

I would have taken Darnold still. Look, if you need a QB it's already too late. Generational QBs are rare, have to take a swing and hope you hit it out of the park. To me Barkley is fantastic but can be replaced production wise by good backs. Good QB play is the rarest to find hence my decision. It's a game of numbers and when you have 4 potentials staring at you you take your favorite and not hope that one will be available next year for you. But hey I'm conservative.
