Davonte Adams should be suspended a game
transplantbillsfan replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mods can you please lock this thread? I had no idea this thread was necro-bumped until @SlimShady'sSpaceForce decided to eyeroll it... apparently not realizing the thread was 2 months old and was about an incident now pretty irrelevant. -
Von Miller ACL- Out for Season
transplantbillsfan replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Welp... that friggin sucks. Can the league please force all these stadiums with that specific turf to change it in the offseason? It's cost us our 2 best defensive players 2 years in a row right as we're preparing for a playoff run. -
John Brown active tonight!!! O/U 99.5 yards??
transplantbillsfan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are you just speculating or did the Bills activate him off the PS? Guess I missed it. -
I like it as long as he comes back. Soooo... does that mean the 4 games he has to miss are Patriots, Jets, Phins and Bears? Means he could potentially come back for the MNF game in Cincy against the Bengals, right?

You seem awfully upset.

I think this is overstated. Watch the Chiefs. Kelce often gets the ball WIDE OPEN!!! And what's more, he gets them in places in the middle of the field where he can keep running. We rarely see Bills WRs or TEs get those types of passes. I think Mahomes is more accurate than Allen, but I don't think the chasm between the 2 is nearly as wide as you insinuate. The Chiefs are able to just somehow scheme their guys wide open. Let's hope and pray this starts tomorrow. Love that for the first time since his injury he had no real "Limited" designation on the injury report and he was listed as a "Full" participant.

Anyone arguing that the game wouldn't be flexed because of the Sunday Night game might be forgetting that if the Bills and Dolphins play on Saturday, December 17th, the Dolphins actually get an extra day of rest for the following game against the Packers on Christmas Day so it kinda balances out the whole "short week" argument for the week before. Looking at those 5 games, I'd be shocked if the Bills and Dolphins aren't playing in a standalone nationally televised game on Saturday or Sunday night. The only other games really worth watching would be Baltimore and Cleveland (with Watson now coming back) and Washington and NYG... but barely. I don't think the OP has a source at all. He's just using astoundingly obvious logic and claiming a source.

Did they actually practice today?

Ya know... this is such an awesome point. I've been thinking a lot about how lucky Mahomes has been over the years to have 2 of the greatest YAC players in the league in Kelce and Hill. Hill is obviously gone now, but I think Kelce has surpassed Gronk as the greatest TE in NFL history. That dude is just such an incredible weapon. And the amount of YAC he gets as a TE is unparalleled. We just don't have players like Hill or Kelce. Diggs is going to be a HOFer for sure and is one of the best 3 or 4 WRs in the game today, but it's really primarily because of his Elite route running and reliable hands. McKenzie is really the only YAC guy we have in our WR corps and did you notice that he got very few YAC on Thanksgiving? Is this just a scheme thing? Has the real problem been that our scheme actually requires Allen to be Superman in the passing game too often? Too many Intermediate to long throws and not enough well designed short passes? Heck, watching Mahomes and Kelce yesterday, Kelcey was WIDE OPEN on some of those intermediate passes, including one he ran a bunch of yards after for a TD. Just frustrating. When was the last time we saw Allen dump a pass that went 10 or fewer yards off to a WR who took it to the house? Diggs vs. the Patriots a couple years ago when he humiliated Jackson?

Allen had 3 consecutive games of 2 Interceptions. Do you really think that's characteristic of Josh Allen at this point? Then last week he had 3 TDs and 1 Interception. If he were to maintain the pace of what he did in the Lions game he'll end the year approaching 50 TDs with roughly a 3 TD to 1 turnover pace. Considering the yardage pace he's on, that could be fine if the team keeps winning.

It's go Bills AND go Bengals week
transplantbillsfan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have Burrow, Chase and Mixon in my fantasy league... I'll be rooting for them, regardless!
